« We chose to stay here for my birthday and to visit Acadia National Park. The cottage's cozy and beautiful (a truly architectural jewel). We wanted to find a peaceful and traditional way to relax and we found it here. The surroundings are stunning (truly loved/ enjoyed the sunrise with the lake's view, great get away from the city and to be able to see the stars at night). The owner is welcoming and attentive. « My husband and I really enjoyed this property. The house was small and cozy and had all the amenities we needed for our week in Maine. We really liked sitting out on the porch listening to all the birds in the pond. We hope to come back one day and would love to stay here again. »

« My family loved this wonderful lake cabin, it was very peaceful, yet close to the action. It's about 1 hour from Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. After 2 days of Acadia, we spent our 3rd day enjoying the lake and renting a jet ski. Overall a great experience for the family. We also recommend Sheila's snacks which is less than 1 mile down the road. She baked a blueberry pie for us and it was the best we had while in Maine. »
