And while i took my now finance out for dinner, the staff helped place rose petals and candles around the room with champagne and strawberries as i had requested. Did even better then i imagined. « We so enjoyed our stay at Luray Modern. It had everything we needed and more. I mean they go above and beyond, they even had things like makeup remover wipes and dog treats. I know that seems like simple stuff but it’s very appreciated. Being above the coffee shop made mornings so easy for coffee and breakfast we had it everyday of our stay. « I loved my stay at this cozy spot. For a small space it was full of amenities, the finest of which money can’t buy: a beautiful view out over a picturesque valley. Morning light fills the space, and charming touches abound. It was peaceful and welcoming. I enjoyed the proximity to excellent hiking and local caves to explore. « This place is a total gem, so close to DC and yet it feels like you're deep in the forest. My only regret is that we didn't have an extra day to float the river down to the State Park; I'm sure we could hire someone in town to help bring the boat back to the property.
