We stayed at Heartland for 3 nights and we don't recommend it at all. Here's why: 1) Very noisy: the street is VERY busy and the soundproofing is just non existent. I had a good pair of earplugs and I could still hear the cars day and night... We could also hear people talking and walking in other rooms. 2) there was no heating in our room. The first night we could barely sleep because of how cold the room was. The next morning we mentioned it to the reception. Unfortunately, the problem never got fixed. There was only one additional blanket in the wardrobe which was not enough in these circumstances. 3) the price we paid vs the quality of the room: our room needed big big big renos... (probably nothing done since the 70's or 80's...) For the price, there's no elevator, no gym, no pool, ... 4) on the second day, the person who cleaned our room left the door unlocked with a small opening... The 2 stars we're giving are for the quality of the WiFi and for Joey (receptionist) who was very helpful.

We enjoyed our stay at Heartlands and the room was comfortable. Some low points were - our room had an allocated carpark in front of our unit, though as we didnt have a car there were multiple cars parked literally right outside our door which felt a bit intrusive. - My allergies were set off as there was quite alot of settled dust on some fixtures - the curtain was hanging off the rail and didnt quite close - there was a large gap in the front door which felt a bit drafty - the bathroom was quite dated and well worn I would stay here again as it was a nice experience, there are just some maintenance issues that could be addressed.

The hotel was great although if you have room 802 you can hear the lift which woke us a few times. We didn’t use the restaurant or bar but looked very nice.

I liked very central. I didn’t like having breakfast with a bus load of other guests because of the covid risk. A warning to eat at a different time would have been good.

There are beautiful views from the room and staff was friendly and quick with check in. However, the bed was a bit limp/soft so I didn't love that. Also, the shower had some damage that didn't impact ability to shower but wasn't nice to look at.

普通に歩いても厳しい坂の上の立地の為、スーツケースを転がしてチェックインした時は苦痛しかありませんでした。しかし、ホテルからワカティブ湖までは数分であり、お洒落なモールも非常に賑やかで便利なモーテルになります。部屋の空調調整が難しく部屋が寒く着込んでベッドに入っています。なかなか空調調整が難しく体調を壊してしましました。

I was allocated a room with a firm but comfortable king bed, and a very good shower. This hotel is in a convenient location 5-10 minutes walk from the centre, with free parking. My room was on the ground floor with a view directly into some bushes, and next to the restaurant kitchen, so I was woken early by noise of dishes being moved around. The room description on Expedia says it includes a safe, but this is a lie - the hotel ought to remove that item from the room details - there is only a safe available at reception.

Cold Water Showers
Not a great stay here. The rooms and bathrooms are dated and could use a refresh. I had multiple issues during my stay. Initially the heater did not work, so they brought a portable heater, but had issues on both days with the shower- the water was cold both mornings and the issue was never addressed by management after multiple calls. I would not stay here again.

Good place to stay especially with a family as at least our unit had bedrooms on two different floors. The property and units are definitely aged but were clean and in a great location. Perfect for one or two nights.
