We loved our stay here. I've been to PV before and stayed in a newer condo, but this time I wanted something more authentic. And this house delivered. From the decor, to the pool and grounds, and feel, it was exactly what I was looking for. The only down side was not finding a cocktail shaker for margs, but we made do. I would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely perfect location - just 2.5 blocks from beach. Extremely quiet and safe. Literally steps from an Oxxo and fantastic restaurants and bars. Beautiful home with lush plants, pool and authentic decor. A throwback to old Mexico. Bonus is owner apparently doesn't want to sell to developers. Clean, well maintained and welcoming. Can't say enough positive things. Well furnished and everything one could need. Will stay here again.

The house was great. Plenty of room and a nice pool area that got sun much of the day. The property management company was very responsive and helped take care of things before our arrival. There was an issue with the hot water when we first arrived but with the help of the property manager, decided that it was probably some kind of timer that was limiting the hot water. It was fixed and we had not issues. The water pressure was also just fine. The neighborhood was a little noisy with regular city noise but we also slept with the doors open for the air. It wouldn’t have been a problem if we closed the door and turned on the A/C. I would recommend as a good place to stay for 3 couples.

Property management team was spectacular. Jesus was extremely helpful and went above and beyond our expectations. Water heater was the only downside of our experience for those whom didn't enjoy the cold showers. Location of the home was great though noise from the road and construction areas was noisy. Overall space was great and we all felt fortunate that the owner let us enjoy their space for the short time in Mexico. Thank you, Notch Family

This was our second year staying at this location. Our experience this year was significantly worse than our pleasant stay in 2021. The property is well cleaned and the cleaning staff does a good job throughout the week. Checking in was simple but we initiated all communication with the management company. A few days prior to our trip I asked the owner to get involved since they were non responsive. During our first stay the listing was very accurate. This time around, we noticed the property has declined in quality. We were without hot water for roughly 72 hours. My disappointment was not so much that the facility ran out of hot water, it was that the property management company was again not communicative unless I reached out for a status update. We were on the verge of finding alternative rooms in a local hotel for the remainder of our stay. Once the gas tank was filled in the evening, we decided to stay but then had very low water pressure. We were exhausted by the hot water dilemma that we decided to deal with it and stay the last couple days. The location is great and in the heart of the romantic zone. We enjoyed ourselves the first trip and wanted to have our friends share the same experience we had in 2021. We felt neglected and stranded given that we had no updates. We couldn’t cook the meals we had planned and rescheduled our night life activities since we were unable to shower. I’ll leave you what they told me, “Well you’re in Mexico”.

This was a great house! It is very centrally located and private feeling. It is up a massive hill where there are stairs but also a “funicular” which is like a lift with an operator. Once, the operator was not there- so be warned if having access is a requirement for your group. The house was well appointed and the pool space was nice. The technology in the house was confusing and it took 4 20-something year olds far too long to figure out how to use the speakers (you need an app, FYI). My only suggestion is to limit your use of the concierge service. I relied on it for groceries and the use of the chef that other reviews raved about. It took a while to get communication going and eventually I spoke with the chef myself and he was not available. Then the property manager told me he was available but the prices were higher than the chef told me. I wanted to have things booked so I just went for it. It was not the chef I had communicated with (maybe others from his team?) but they did a great job. I just think pricing was higher than if I had figured it out myself. Additionally the person I was mainly communicating with left the management company so I had to repeat details about what I had booked the day before to his boss which was worrisome. Some of our groceries from the list did not arrive so we had to go to the store anyway. Everything turned out fine, we had a great time, it just wasn’t as smooth as I would have liked. Perhaps just an off experience though.

I booked this home to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday. Our adult children joined us. Loved the location...so close to the beach, great restaurants and shops. Cesar, the property manager, was absolutely terrific! He helped me book massages at the house, a chef for one night and made a couple dinner reservations for us. He was extremely responsive! The house could not have been more perfect!

Looks just like the photos. Fun. Funky. Great pool area and main room with open Kitchen. Water fountains and tons of plants. If you can’t walk up the hill take the funicular. Location is great for an in town house. Rare in PV. Coral takes care of it all cheerfully. We had just the getaway we were looking for and enough away from the craziness that has become the heart of old town. Great for 3 couples.

The property, management and owner were all amazing! Stayed with a group of six 12/2 to 12/10. We all highly recommend this place! The house is gorgeous and spacious. All three couples loved their super comfy king sized beds and all three couples had their own generously sized master bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of wares. We prepared several meals in the kitchen and on the gas grille from groceries purchased at the local mercado. The highlight of the property is definitely the pool that was kept heated to about 90 def F. We spent many hours lounging in the private pool area of the home, day and night. Coral and the entire property management group from Landmark PVR properties were super responsive and amazing on check in, check out, maintenance, maid, pool and landscaping services. We kept in touch with Coral and the team through WhatsApp group chat and all questions were answered and minor issues were addressed promptly. The location of the home can’t be beat. It’s steps away from many , many restaurants, bars and of course, the gorgeous beach! We would love to stay at Casa del Ángel again and highly recommend. â€ïžđŸŒŽđŸ–ïžđŸč

We had a great experience with this property and it’s management. They really make sure you have everything you need and are there to help you with anything along the way! No other similar style home has such a great location. Stevan the owner, Angel the house manager and Hugo the groundskeeper and handyman are all wonderful. You will love every minute in this home.
