During a Picnic lunch at the Lake we were honored with a famous Peruvian Paso Horse Demonstration. These talanted people gave an authentic Peruvian Horse Show in a fabulous exhibit of elegant precision, skilled horsemanship and dance.
#TroveOn Salkantay, the mountain that this particular hike gets its name from, stands over 6,200m tall and is the tallest mountain in the Willkapampa mountain range. The trek lasts for four days and on the first night/second morning, you will have this as your view. When I went, avalanches were going off all night, plus no artificial light means more stars than you've ever seen before!
