It is so rewarding when I hear that our guests felt like their day on the boat rental with one of our private captain's was the best day they ever experienced while on vacation anywhere. I love when children and parent's alike feel like being out the boat and just seeing the natural beauty of island is better than going to Disney. It's filling your senses with the sun shimmering off the turquoise ocean, the white water breaking on the reef, the change from turquoise to dark blue water on the outside of the reef, the beautiful blue sky, the pink sand on the beach, the palm tree, beach grass and luxurious boats cruising around and feeling the warm sun on your skin and breathing in the fresh tropical breeze. Knowing that you can jump in the ocean whenever your want and get some exercise whiile relaxing and letting the underwater world entertain you. It is very peaceful. This is what vacation is all about. We all need to recharge our batteries and this is a healthy way to do it. We look forward to seeing you and your family again. We appreciate your kind words. It was a pleasure to host Michael is his family. We had everything organized before their arrival such as airport transportation to the villa, where their suv rental was waiting clean and full of gas. we provided a guide book with detailed driving directions to our favorite beach stops all over the island, so they knew where to go snorkelling from the beach or where to rent a jet ski. IGA Grocery store, the wine cellar, restaurants, excursions and we have kayak racks on the suv so you can take them to the mangroves for your very own ecotour. You can also kayak or paddleleboard at the villa dock or relax under the stars at night.

One of the patio doors had shifted from heat on the outside and cool air conditioning on the inside. So our Contractor was able to adjust the track on the door and line of the lock the day after the arrival. The first night a custom dowel was cut to fit in snug as a lock. We are sorry for the inconvenience. You were lovely guests and we enjoy having you for your Beaches Cooking School Course. We hope you will continue to use our Villa for future courses.

The clean turquoise ocean and white sand beaches are a dream. Cruising around on the pontoon boat is a wonderful way to see the coat and stay refreshed. We are so glad you enjoyed every minute. Thank you for choosing to stay at Sweet Escape Villa we are so glad that you enjoyed our property, the water trampoline and exploring the island. We have owned this property for over 10 years and there has never been any issues with dogs. I am aware that one of our guest cottage guests went for a walk to the west on waterview st right after they had arrived and a few dogs were running together as he went by the driveway 2 doors to the west and it nipped him. That homeowner 2 doors down is a doctor and does not own the dog and had never seen it before. We notified TSPCA and they may have come and got it as we havent seen it again. The island has pot cakes and the TSPCA goes around giving them shots and taking them in so people can adopt them. This is not just on our street, it is island wide. Please read about it. I am grateful that it was a nip & no stitches or shots required. "not an attack per se" I gave him info to go to doctor but he said it really wasnt necessary he just wanted me to know. My husband, two boys & I and many guests bike on our property, up the roads and all over the island. Of course, using caution when biking is always important. This was a 1st and hopefully the only issue we ever have. It was two doors to the west, the owner is a doctor and he has no pets. The description of the dog sounded like the teachers dog on the corner a golden retriever whose hair has bleached blonde since moving to the island and the dog is very gentle and lays by the owners gated entry and plays with the dogs from up Turtle Creek Drive and we confirmed it was not. None of our neighbors have dogs on Waterview. Only on Turtle Creek Drive. We have neighborhood watch and I have made the neighbors aware and address this. We have avid bike rider guests that bike all over the island. I hope this addresses that. I wish you had of let me know you were concerned after speaking with the cottage guest. He said he walked and biked every day after that and never saw that dog again and had no issues so I am sorry he worried you off biking, that was not necessary. When there is a full moon the wild dogs known as pot cakes will howl at the moon in the distance. That is what we hear. They are beige and blonde slim dogs shorter then labs and lighter and then they have a darker mix with tan, same slim build. People adopt them and take them back on the plane.
