Pros:Overall the house was great! Very clean and plenty of room.The time of year we went, there was plenty of room on the beach, and no waiting at the restaurants (we did go at 5:30 though)Great view of sunrise over the bay, and sunsets over the gulfGood parking at the houseNice table to eat outsideReasonable price compared to others close byCons:The view was a bit obstructed, just due to the dunes and other houses, but I think it was accurately displayed on the photos.Higher deck chairs would be a great addition to the property. The lower chairs are comfortable, but you have to look through the railAccess to the beach was a bit of a challenge as it was a pretty steep trip to the beach. Be prepared for a workoutFood:There were plenty of good places to eat in Port St. Joe. Sisters (the filet); Provisions (Snapper); and White Marline (tuna or the special) were our favorites. Uptown has a real fire grill, so I would highly recommend that as well. The grilled Mahi sandwich was very good. BTW: Scallops General Store has GREAT pizza and it is only one minute down the road.Conclusion: I would be happy to stay there again, but would probably look into different properties due to the view and access.
