It is very centrally located and actually located on an ancient Roman bath ruins that you see in the lobby through the glass floor. There is daily tour. Fun. The breakfast is good, good food and service and ambience.

I stayed at this property a week ago and I have to say it is one of, if not the best hotel I've had the pleasure of staying at. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and had all the knowledge to share for a wonderful visit to Plovdiv. The breakfast was delicious and the layout of the hotel and garden immaculate. Since I come from a Roman city in the UK, I especially liked seeing the Roman bath remains in the basement of the hotel. It was a real delight, thank you and I hope to stay again.

Villa Flavia had very comfortable rooms, excellent service, a perfect location in the old town, convenient parking, and great breakfasts. Beyond that, they have ruins of an ancient Roman bath beneath the hotel, which they can give you a tour of. its the best mixture of old and new and truly an authentic experience. I felt extraordinarily lucky to have picked Villa Flavia to stay at.

Wonderful hotel being built upon an ancient bath house. Centrally located. Amazing staff that were friendly, warm, accommodating and treated us like family. Must visit. We will be back for sure.

Excellent hotel, staff, and location!
I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and very professional. Comfortable room, clean, and quiet. The location was fantastic - it is close to restaurants, shopping, and sites. The parking was secure, and the directions emailed from the hotel staff helped me locate it.

The best part of our trip to Plovdiv
Truly outstanding. Villa Flavia is built on top of Roman bath ruins and they have lovingly and beautifully preserved them below the main lobby. Make sure you take them up on their offer for a short tour to see the original marble of the pool, original tunnels that demonstrate the heating mechanism (hypocaust). My boyfriend and I both looked at each other on our first night and said “this was a great choice” - property & rooms are lovely & comfortable - overlooks a gorgeous courtyard where you can have breakfast - fantastic buffet breakfast with great spread: hot items, Bulgarian yogurt and toppings, banitsa, pancakes, fresh squeezed oj, excellent espresso - parking was ultra convenient and worth the modest fee - roof top terrace is also lovely - cannot beat the location in old plovdiv, close to all of the museums, restaurants, Roman stadium, etc.

Beautiful hotel with a very interesting and unusual feature underground (Roman ruins, which they give you a tour of if you ask). Nice breakfast included, staff friendly and helpful ( particularly one who helped with finding a bus timetable), clean, modern and very conveniently located.

The perfect hotel in Plovdiv
Our stay at Villa Flavia was excellent in every way. The location is perfect for visiting the old city, Kapana, and shopping or the local park. The staff are kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, and the buffet breakfast is the perfect way to start your day of exploration. There is a gorgeous rooftop terrace to sip drinks or enjoy city views. One suprise you won't always find in the description: the hotel's basement features the ruins of a Roman bath discovered when they were renovating the hotel, which is now preserved and incorporated into the hotel's design. (And the staff will give you a personal tour.) I can't say enough good things about this hotel, and if I have the chance to return to Plovdiv, I don't think I'd want to stay anywhere else!

The hotel is beautifully designed, from the historical Roman ruins underneath, to the airy rooftop terrace with a spectacular panoramic view. The room was very comfortable, as was its bathroom and shower, and the complimentary beverages are a nice touch. The staff are very helpful, friendly, and fluent in English. The breakfast was delicious with a lot of options and the lobby and eating area are stylish and comfortable. It's in the perfect location for Plovdiv, and was easy accessible, including an elevator. Highly recommended!

The staff at Villa Flavia went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and cared for. They helped with changing our reservation details, offered drinks and help with luggage at check in, gave sight seeing recommendations, and even kept the delicious breakfast buffet open for us despite us oversleeping and missing the times. The property is historic, beautifully restored & renovated with modern, aesthetic decor. Our room was clean, spacious, well maintained, and ready right at check in. Staff even held our bags while we continued to explore before check in after check out. Have nothing but nice things to say! Thank you staff at Villa Flavia. Would return and staff here again in a heartbeat.

Perfect Stay in Plovdiv!
Everything was executed perfectly and we have absolutely no complaints. The service was professional and outstanding. The hotel is also perfectly located for visiting the old city.

Before leaving from the first time we stayed, we rebooked the exact same room for a week for another upcoming stay. It’s difficult to give a higher compliment than that for a hotel.
