Close proximity to bus stops for the 11 and 91 bus routes; download the Le Pass app, purchase a Jazzy pass and you are all set for moving around town. Forget the streetcar, they are always packed full of people and go right past the stops. »

« The Retreat was a wonderful place to stay. The condo was immaculately clean, comfortable and roomy. The kitchen was very well stocked and the owner was very accommodating and gracious. The location was great. We would definitely stay there again which I think is the ultimate compliment. Also great communications with owner. All round wonderful experience. »

« Interior is great, clean, and well kept, beds are very comfortable, and it was pretty easy to have 6 guests in there as long as you have people comfortable sharing queen beds. Host was very responsive and didn't have a laundry list of check in/check out things for us to do. Its a great place to stay with friends for a trip to New Orleans. Only things to be wary of: right on the cusp of an unsafe area of New Orleans, so be careful being out after dark. Also, downstairs neighbors were not...

Beds were comfy, kitchen and bathrooms were spacious and immaculant. Gabe is quick to respond to any of your needs. We definitely will be back to visit New Orleans and Gabe’s. »

« Everything went as it should and the vintage accommodations were excellent. I wanted a more authentic experience. Everything was wonderful. I can't walk far so we got to go to lots of places right near Frenchman. Found our favorite club a couple blocks away, but it's all good. We hope to stay there again. »
