The location of the hotel is indeed in a quiet area of the Marais, although the more animated areas as La Bastille, the historical Marais or l’Ile Saint Louis are very close with only a 5-to-15-minute walk to reach them. We do indeed also have the chance to have several metro stations close to the hotel with several direct lines that allows our guests to get to most of the main attractions in Paris in very little time. There seems to be some confusion concerning your review.
We have no records of a reservation for 8 nights in our hotel from Hotels.com since the reopening of the hotel in September after being closed for more than a year.
We have had only 4 reservations from Hotels.com since September.
Three reservations with confirmed guests who have stayed and all with a 5/5 reviews, either on this platform or through costumer survey.
One reservation made for the end of January and cancelled 3 minutes later, so this guest never stayed in our Hotel.
There is not and never has been German speaking staff in our hotel.
Also, our hotel being very small with only 12 Suites, there are no “concierge” in our hotel but hosts, composed of a small reception team who’s faces, and names are well known by our guest staying with us. If you had stayed 8 days, this would have been obvious.
We have never and will never ask a housekeeper to check to see if Guests have taken something from their Suite either when they are checking out, or at any other time.
We have never and will never charge our guests for a mask, on the contrary, when they ask for one, we give them multiple masks to be sure they have more than what they need.
As for your comments concerning housekeeping. On top of having the same dedicated housekeeping team since our opening, the Suites are always double checked by management, so we can assure you that not having housekeeping done for 3-4 days is simply not an option.
To finish, the multiple reviews from Guests having stayed with us throughout the years speak for themselves and only make this review seem even more incomprehensible.
