« Laikyns Lodge is an amazing home on a beautiful sprawling property. It is a beautiful, huge log home with quality everywhere. Amazing indoor and outdoor spaces. The warm indoor pool kept 5 kids (and their parents) busy. The walk from the pool to the outdoor hot tub was cold but well worth it. On clear nights, the fire pit is a great gathering spot. « To start to say this place was great is an understatement! Was the perfect place for my wife and I’s first wedding anniversary. Check in and check out were very simple. The evenings and mornings were relaxing as could be with the location being very secluded. Cabin was very very clean and comfy all the way around. « My 18-year-old daughter, and I spent 3 nights in Hocking Hills at the chalets A-frame cabins. Location was convenient to All of the hiking locations. The cabin itself was very clean and had everything we needed, and we appreciated that it was pet friendly. The area was very quiet and the hot tub was clean in good working condition. « The owner had excellent communication and let us know in advance all the welcome info and the best way to get to the cabin as the gps route can be a little trucky. The first thing we noticed upon arrival was how clean the cabin was. It was a wonderful little get away with my fiancée and our two pups. Definitely would go back! »

« You won’t get claustrophobia here - open, rustic decor, feels a bit like a really big, cool man cave. Two games could use some attention — small version of foosball needs repaired or replaced; the bumper pool table needs nuts to hold down the bumpers; the jute box needs repairing as well. The hiking was outta this world! Reminds us so much of many spots in Zion National Park in Utah. Ohio’s best kept secret! »

« The room was ideal. Large. Clean. Great bath with a multifunction shower. However, all of the lights are 6000k LEDs which is fine if you're shopping, but atrocious in a bedroom. There was no escape. I wound up turning everything off and using ambient light from Athens. Fix that and you'll have an ideal spot. »

The cabin was very clean but I do recommend bringing an extra pillow if you sleep with more than one pillow. Also, if using the hot tub, bring extra towels because you only get 4. Within about 10 minute drive to Hocking Hills attractions. Would stay here again!! »
