Situated directly across from Barnhill Park and Windgate Barn, begin your day sitting on the covered front porch and watch the day unfold. You’ll feel right at home in this 3-bedroom, 2.5 bath home fully furnished in farmhouse decor. The Hitching Post can accommodate 6 adults comfortably (2 guests in each bedroom), and up to 8 people by maximizing use of beds in the bunk room (one full bed and two twin beds).

The open floor plan of the ground level offers a well-equipped kitchen, breakfast bar, farmhouse dining table and a comfortable living space, all which combine to create a bright and inviting environment. Whether preparing and enjoying a meal, playing board games or cards, doing puzzles, or reading a book by the fireplace, this is where you will relax and spend quality time with family and friends.

Looking for a little time out of the house? Our home is a short stroll or bike ride away from the main retail center at Seabrook. Here you’ll find plenty of opportunities for retail therapy,
restaurants, and community entertainment. Not in the mood to shop? Feel free to grab the beach chairs and head to Gnome Trail for a short hike through the woods and down to the Pacific Ocean. Enjoy the sea breezes and watch the day go by while the kids and pup frolic in the sand and water. The Hitching Post is also near several of the hiking and biking trailheads that surround Seabrook, sports courts, playground for the kids and, for your furry family members, the dog park.

At day’s end feel free to join neighbors around the community fire-pit, conveniently located in The Croft pocket park, just outside the front door. You may choose a more intimate setting and settle in around the Hitching Post’s fire-pit, or perhaps a relaxing soak in the private hot tub. When you’re ready to turn in for the evening, climb into any one of the many comfortable beds upstairs and enjoy a quiet and peaceful night’s sleep.
