We presume you didn't call our management company for the draining of the shower, which is usually a small issue and was solved after your check-out. The hot tub chemicals need to be balanced, just like a swimming pool. It can happen that it is a bit more smelly for a day after it was just done. Thank you again for staying with us !

Interesting to see your comparison very car rental and Uber/Lyft ! No one has done that before and we were actually surprised that the Uber/Lyft transport came out cheaper than renting a car. Just to clarify, the quiet hours in the evening/night are more meant to stop parties taking place. It's no problem to swim or have fun at the pool during the evenings. Nevertheless, as you wrote, it's a tranquil location with very nice landscaping. This combined with the lake made us decide to buy a villa in Lake Berkley ! Thank you for your review. The management leaves a "starters pack", indeed not enough for a longer stay. The villa is rented out as self-catering and "industry standard" is what all the management co's do. We will be looking into that very soon and see what we can change. Thank you for your review and what a shame that you didn't check the listing well as it is clearly mentioned that the property is self catering. Most of our bookings are for more that one week and it is obvious that our management company only supply a set of necessities to use before going to the supermarket. The information package and the terms and conditions which are mailed out 1-2 weeks prior to check-in is also clearly mentioning it is self catering. This is not exceptional in Florida, all owners and management companies we know are basically offering the same. Our management company came back twice to de-block the drain of your shower, but as you were not in, nothing could be done. They will, in principle, not enter the house when the guests are not present. Again, it is a pity that you feel that way and left us a pile of garbage in the house, but we are nevertheless pleased that you liked the villa and the great views over the lake.!

Hi Melanie, We are very happy to hear you had a great time! As you know it is a self-catering home but we always provide a starter pack for our guests, including soaps and toilet paper in every bathroom, a washing and dishwashing tablet, a kitchen roll and few extra garbage bags.
