If you’re going to Winter Park, look no further than the Alfond Inn. Located right on the edge of campus; walking distance to everything. Park Avenue is only three minutes away with plenty of dining options and shopping. The hotel is fantastic, clean, helpful staff. You can’t go wrong!

An outstanding visit for 5 days. The staff clearly is engaged and motivated to make sure the guests are happy. The art throughout the property is stunning and makes every turn interesting and fun. Proximity to beautiful downtown Winter Park is makes dining and shopping easy. All around a fantastic hotel, fantastic staff and a beautiful stay.

The Alfond Inn was a confusing experience, ultimately disappointing. A beautiful lobby art collection badly hung, and in the rooms, you can see places where the finishes were not taken care of. The rooms are quiet despite the many guests there for weddings. But I was startled to find myself charged a resort fee for each time I ordered room service—20$ plus taxes and a service charge —and that information wasn’t on any of the menus which we had to look up online. There wasn’t even clear information about how to order the food—we had to call the front desk and ask to be put through. Save yourself the trouble and the plastic boxes and go to the beautiful dining room. If I order room service in a hotel like this I want trays, silver, napkins. I don’t want it to look like it came out of door dash.

Expensive and many hidden fees. No parking available we had to use the valet. We are not going back.

Dear Maria: We are very sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay. We are upfront about all of our fees, and are curious which fees you are referring to? Additionally, we do not have self parking here on property; we only offer Valet. There is street parking available after 6pm, and there is a parking garage a block away. We hope you will return in the future and give us another chance.

Great hotel with unique feel
Loved staying at the Alfond Inn. It is very clean and updated but also has a vintage and unique feel. It doesn’t feel like a chain. I had breakfast in the restaurant which great. The bar area was nice as well.
