« Wonderful area and very practical. I was charged extra for my dog that i was not aware of. Bring your own towels and coffee filters. Even though i stayed 3 nights there were only 3 coffee filters. I drink more than one coffee a day. »

« The property and surrounding areas are perfect for families. There is something to do for everyone. The beds and cottages are nasic but comfortable and totslly worth the value. »

« Loved the full kitchen, bbq, outdoor seating and the beach, including kayaks and canoes. The cBin was perfect for our needs. I was surprised about bringing all my own linens , including blankets. I wish that prt had been communicated more than 2 days before the trip- including the blanket piece, as I didn’t think a blanket was considered linens and had a couple cold nights. With more warning, I could have made arrangements ti have everything »

« It was very nice "Back to 70's" kind of charming cottage. Owner and care taker were very nice. Just a problem was shower. It seems couldn't run hot and cold water same time. I struggled quite long time but only choice I got was shower in icy cold water or burning hot water. Every thing else was good especially the "skinny mirror"! the other cottager in the property were nice too. »

« Great quiet location away from the city. Cute little cottage - enough for a couple. Close to small town of Bala. Only issue was the heat in the living area. Need more heaters and blinds in the living room. »

« Great stay. Great host. Be sure to bring your own supplies though because the gas station and convenience stores have a huge markup. Would definitely go back again. »

« Nice cottage, very clean. Owners were responsive. Check-in and check-out were smooth. »

« We really enjoyed our family getaway over the Labour Day. The cottage is cute and is a close drive to Bala. It would be have been preferable to be waterfront or have better lake access but the place was clean, the owners were nice and the area is still lovely. »

« Beautiful spot with incredible view. Just a few minor details overlooked. More cooking pots/pans would be handy, as well as additional tea, towels, washcloths, and dish cloths. A recommendation might be to cut back the trees in the entrance slightly as to allow for a safer exit onto busy roadway. Overall, Wonderful for a relaxing vacation. Paddle boards on site were certainly appreciated. »

« This property was beautiful and the house was so clean!!! The kids loved the small little beach and thought the paddle boat was fun! We visited late October, so we cuddled around the fire and made campfire bread during the day. Exploring the town of Bracebridge was great. We cooked up a storm in the awesome kitchen. Walks along the quiet road were rejuvenating. Spotted a snowy owl. Book your stay here, you won’t regret it. 🙌 »

« Lovely spot. Just surprised that there were no cups, no paper towels or tea towels. No amenities whatsoever. We brought our own coffee maker but could not enjoy a morning coffee. Would love to come back but if you’re traveling you need to bring your own dishes. Weird »

« Le chalet est très bien située. Toutefois, à cause des oiseaux, le terrain est recouvert d'excréments. Il est difficile d'y marcher alors oublions le terrain de jeux pour enfants. De plus, à notre arrivée, le chalet était sale. Nous avons passé 2 heures à tout nettoyer. C'est très peu entretenu et le mobilier a une odeur de chien mouillé alors que les animaux y étaient supposément interdits. »

« My friends and I wanted an escape from reality and this place was just what we needed. We were a couple steps away from the lake. As well as there were board games and movies to watch just in case it rained. Overall a great getaway! »
