« Very occasionally you come across a special place that will stay with you forever. Saucy Willow is that. Beautiful setting and gardens, house that is tastefully and lovingly renovated. The rooms are great, super comfy beds, powerful shower, fridge. Breakfast was plentiful and filled us up (thanks Dave for packaging scones for us to take away). « I have no issue with hotel rooms with run down, tacky furniture - especially when the price is right - but there is no excuse for the room being dirty. Although the hosts were friendly, they need to change how they clean. And if they can’t get the gross dirt off the cabinets and furniture - replace it! If we weren’t just using the room to sleep, I would have left and found a way to seek my money back from Expedia. At least sheets were fresh and soft. I just didn’t enjoy the feeling that I needed...

« We stayed for a week and staff was very friendly and accommodating. Nice to have a restaurant in the Hotel. In the kitchenette we were hoping to be able to use a stove top to make simple meals during the week but we only had a microwave which did not make they possible. Also one of the beds was very soft. Other than that I would recommend it. »
