« The property is clean it has a lovely view. We will stay again when the weather is nicer. The only complaint I have, it is not really a complaint, but the front door does not close properly, but maybe due to all the rain/moisture. But we loved it here »

« Super cute, quaint cottage a close walk to Main Street in Lake Placid. It was much bigger than we anticipated. We enjoyed our stay. Bed is upstairs in a loft, so we had to basically crawl in and out of it but we didn’t mind. Loved the bathroom, kitchen, and living room area. Perfect for a getaway. Highly reccommend staying here. »

« We were hoping to enjoy the lake, but the weather did not cooperate! We were happy to discover the pool table, in the basement, though... that saved us!! We were grateful that the AC was on when we got there, because the first day was very hot and humid. There are some things (radio music thing?) that are antiquated, the place is a wee bit dated, but it definitely served our purpose. we were there for our son's graduation from UVM. « My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The cottage was clean and very well stocked, it was very quiet and relaxing. The sunsets were spectacular! Carol and Pete were very friendly and had a bottle of wine, eggs and 1/2 and 1/2 for our coffee. Definitely I would go back! »

« We stayed 4 nights with friends visiting from Belgium. Great location, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds. The views were wonderful especially from the rooftop deck above the boathouse. In spite of the weather we had a great time. A few more kitchen towels were needed. The drains in both showers were very slow! It would be nice to have a dresser in each bedroom. »

« We were excited to ice fish the famed Chaumont Bay for trophy walleye. Unfortunately the fishing didn't go as planned. The house was great, very clean and comfortable for our group. There was a minor issue with the boiler that the manager solved very quickly. I would definitely stay here again if the fishing was better. If you are headed there to ice fish, you should be aware that access to the water from the cottage is via a set of narrow stairs, and getting a shanty to the back yard is...
