We did not see a close store for groceries, but enjoyed the restaurant across the street. The only problem was the shower...no window covering for privacy and the water did not drain well. »

This apartment has been converted out of the stables of a 15th Century Town Palace, this means walls in odd places, different floor heights, tight spiral staircase, and old plaster painted over, there is not a lot of natural light, I think this is what most bad reviewers pick up on, so if you like big natural windows and views you will not find them here. ...

« Very happy we booked here! It was such a pleasant place to stay!! Was happily surprised by a few things: The apartment is on the Piazza Carmine where there is a lovely old church Santa Maria del Carmine with the Brancacci Chapel. Also about a half block away and to left of the church steps there is a laundry mat, and just across the street from this a small grocery store, and a few more strides away a family bakery/kitchen where we got sandwiches, pastries and lasagna — lovely generational...

« Chambre dont les volets ne peuvent être fermés ou ouverts qu'à partir d'une cour intérieure (dont nous n'avions pas l'accès : il fallait à demander à l'accueil...) . Le petit déjeuner est très maigre : 2 pâtisseries au choix et une boisson à prendre en dehors de l'hôtel à une centaine de mètres. Ce n'est vraiment pas le top : dans un bar-pâtisserie où un va-et-vient incessant des habitués du quartier viennent prendre un café. Pour l'accès il faut sonner à l'entrée puis donner le n° de chambre...
