« Been staying for years. It was a great place, then about 3-4 years ago it…changed. Not sure what but the quality of everything went down. Not the staff, you could tell the staff was frustrated, but they have always been great. During this stay there was storage containers of new furniture, their pool/hot tub was (mostly) fixed…. « Room was very clean and the staff was quite responsive to our questions/needs. It's an older, nostalgic, roadside inn. The motel does show it's age but served our needs for a close room to sleep in near an event we participated in. New owners are doing some work to fix it up. »

« Staff is very friendly and helpful. Property is well kept but parking is insufficient to handle the number of guests' vehicles. Breakfast is continental but is complete enough to be a good full breakfast. We wish the bedroom had a door on it for privacy from the other living/sleeping area. We hear all the suites on site are that way. »

« Nice fixtures and furniture, very clean and approachable. Plenty of space for groups to gather (large room with fireplace, TV room in the back, and gaming area on the 2nd floor). Kitchen was very small, I imagine it would be fine if using the grill outside in the warmer months. Counterspace is at a minimum so maybe a giant coffee maker AND ice nugget machine isn't the best budget for space. Tub in primary bathroom has jets, but they do not function. « The Beaver’s Lodge is brand new and well appointed. It has a very comfy feel; it’s not a man cave. There are games for the kids, the kitchen is well setup, plenty of space and everything works. The owners are very responsive. The beds are very soft. Towels are brand new. Spotless clean. »
