I liked the ease of check-in and check-out. The room was clean, but the paint on the walls was dingy with stains, and in need of a fresh coat. The furniture is all very old and dated, but perfectly functional. The beds were comfortable enough, but the pillows need an update. There was a refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, hair dryer, iron, and ironing board which was helpful. The bathroom was clean and came with soap, shampoo, and conditioner, but it was a small stand-up shower, not a bathtub, so it was a little cramped, but the water was hot and it did the job just fine. If I owned the property I would do the following:
1. Update the paint ($50 paint and rollers)
2. Get matching pillows that give a bit better support and cushion. ($9/pillow on Amazon $36/room)
3. Update the lighting and the night stands(from the 80s) (Nightstand with charging station $70).
4. If not able to get upgraded/updated mattresses, then get some 2 inch memory foam mattress pads. The beds would be amazing.($30-$35/bed, $60-$70/room)
So, for $225 per room, it would be a much nicer place to stay. Owners...pony up the cash. It's worth it! All in all...a little pricey for what you get, but cheaper than other places in the area. I'd go back, but I'd bring my own pillows.
