« This property may have been okay for an overnight or maybe two but lacked a lot of the necessities needed for period of time. Shower was a challenge. Unable to communicate with the host do to a country cell phone difference. No WiFi, etc… »

« This is a very well appointed, extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean property. The host, Stephen, and the housekeeper, Amanda, were very proactive with communications, very comprehensive and nothing left to chance. It’s a beautiful cottage that clearly a lot of thought has gone into making it feel like a real home from home, and it is in a spectacular location. »

« Das Haus entsprach genau unseren Vorstellungen, mit viel Liebe und netten Details eingerichtet, tatsächlich empfehlenswert ! Die Reinigung vor unserer Ankunft war offensichtlich nicht sehr gründlich und die Matratzen sollten dringend erneuert werden. Das Gartenhäuschen ist acu sehr schön. »

« Beautiful location with lovely, comfortable accomodation. The night staff were very friendly, accomodation and helpful on our arrival. We felt very welcome. However the day time reception staff were quite abrupt and rude not only to us but we watched a few other guests get 'told off' for petty things. Was rather unfortunate to witness. It spoilt the mood immediately. The lounge area was so relaxing with gorgeous views. The pool area was nice and clean but the floors are quite smooth and slippy! »

« Though we didn't have a pet, it seemed very dog friendly, food and water dishes, secure garden etc. Host was helpful and friendly, comfy cottage, well equipped kitchen and really comfy beds. Small private sitting area as well as garden .A small , but steep incline on road up to location, if you have walking difficulties .We are In our 70s and was fine. »

« Lovely cosy home convenient for all of our needs, close to train station and good walks for our dog. Very clean and comfortable. Beautiful modern bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and warm. Lovely small touches by the host with the chocolates on the coffee table, shampoo and conditioner provided, some board games etc. We had a fantastic stay here and would book it again in the future. »

« 3 jours au calme, les pieds dans l'eau dans ce cottage charmant, avec beaucoup de cachet, bien rénové et équipé. Terrasse en bord de plage, une vue extraordinaire sur la mer et l'île de Bute. Le village de Kames est très calme et très beau. Coup de cœur de notre voyage en Écosse ! »
