« This property may have been okay for an overnight or maybe two but lacked a lot of the necessities needed for period of time. Shower was a challenge. Unable to communicate with the host do to a country cell phone difference. No WiFi, etc… »

« We had a great stay at our daughters wedding all the family in one large villa but still felt part of the hotel. Cars come and take you up to the hotel whenever you wish. Or the grounds are beautiful to walk up to the hotel. All the staff we met were amazing »

« Hôtel de charme, comme on s’attend à trouver en Ecosse. Accueil très sympathique et très prévenant. La table est très bonne, avec une mention particulière pour l’afternoon tea, qui est bien agréable pour un après midi d’automne.. Un grand bravo et un grand merci. »

They treated us marvelously, were welcoming, and made us feel right at home during our stay. The breakfast was absolutely the best. « This was our second stay at Barns and it not disappoint. The rooms are spotlessly clean, nice touch with the mini fridge with fresh milk and water. The street is very quiet, as are the rooms. Only 3 rooms but we didn’t hear or see anyone so we had the beautiful back terrace to ourselves, a little sun spot! Lovely large kitchen/dining area for your use but we ate out both nights. Would highly recommend. »

Déçue. De manière générale passable

"Rien à dire sur la chambre, même si un peu sombre et vieillotte. La literie de confort et de qualité, idem pour l'hygiène. Un seul bémol pour le lavabo plutôt un rince doigt. Tout de même l'annexe est décevant par rapport à l'hotel. Ce n'est pas le même standing. Petit-déjeuner très bien sauf l'accueil de la maître d'hôtel qui laisse à désirer, surtout au réveil : peu chaleureuse et peu accessible, elle parle fort et très vite. S'est montrée fortement désagréable. "

"Excellent emplacement face à la mer. Accueil sympathique. Bonne literie et bon restaurant. Notre chambre mansardée sous le toit était un peu petite et la décoration désuettte mais nous avons passé un bon séjour."
