« Very cute old house right on the beach but it needs some serious work.. if you open certain cabinet doors in the kitchen it hits the ceiling fan, they had the dryer door taped shut but of course it kept popping open so the dryer is unusable, stains on the carpets and wood floors, missing outlet covers, the back deck is seriously unsafe you feel it sway with any small movement and it needs a good deep clean the ac filter covers are caked in dust and they’re Cobb webs in a lot of the corners....

« It's a cute house, just steps away from the beach. We had a great time enjoying all the sights around town and beach during our trip. They had everything we needed to enjoy our stay...Our host was awesome and communicated with me about everything »

« The cottage was clean and exactly as the picture. It was at 5 minutes walk from the ocean, perfect. However, The codeed lock broke and we lost half a day locked out side. Also, we lost the Wifi connexion on wenesday and the onwer did nothing to get the Wifi back. Result. No connexion, for the major part of our stay (4/7days). This situation had a major impact on our trip because the wifi was our only way to be able to use our cellphone. Activities reservation, Uber eat sercives, emmergencies...

« We were in Virginia Beach to assist a critically ill relative. We didn’t want to stay in a hotel with the beach and party crowd. When I saw this listing I knew it was perfect. I was not disappointed. The pictures on the listing depict the home perfectly. Clean. White. Bright. Open. Lovely views of the bay and water bird activity. There is a great open kitchen ideal for cooking if you desire. The living room has a comfortable couch and large TV. The bedrooms are nice - especially the one...

« The manager made a mistake. He owned it and gave us a better place. The parking could have been better. It served our purposes well. It was quiet and private. My husband fished every morning. Our first choice would not have been as nice. »

« It was a surprise for my husband's birthday that I rented this house in the area where he grew up in the 60's. Though his old house is long gone - this took him back to his childhood days and as it turns out - he once knew the people who lived in the cottage. It was clean, comfortable, and just what I was expecting. Communication and check-in/access was easy. Will definetly consider it for a visit in the fall. »

« Loved this location. Right next to state park and just across the street was access to beach. The street is busy, just have to be careful and patient. The side we stayed on had 3 big bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. Make sure to bring paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, hand soap and garbage bags. It was very clean and a very cute cottage. We loved our stay there. »

« Enjoyed our stay! Close to the beach for our dogs to enjoy with us! Stayed cool with the a/c units to our surprise. Unfortunately the a/c unit slides were not secure which allowed flies entry. Wooden blinds would be a better option with a/c units instead of curtains for privacy at night but daylight during the day. Overall expectations were met. Video game was enjoyed by all. Would definitely recommend for a quick getaway! »
