« Absolutely perfect space and property! I wish we all could have stayed longer. Everything needed was laid out impeccably! A couple of small items: the amount of toilet paper was insufficient -- what was described was, 3 rolls would be provided in each bathroom. Instead each bathroom had only partial rolls. We had to go out to purchase more! Paper towel was also in short supply.Other then these small items, we all loved the Sleeping Bear Lair... It helped us all get rested and ready for race day! »

« Loved the place! Felt like coming home. They provided so much, we wouldn’t have to bring anything to have a good time. The kitchen was stocked with spices, oil, paper towels and trash bags. The cupboards were filled with a good amount of cooking tools too. Same thing in the bathroom: towels, shampoo and conditioners were all offered by the owners. The outside was really nice too and offered a lot to do on the lake. The little dock lets you get into the water easily with one of the paddling...

« This small cabin was perfect for our needs. My husband and I stayed for a weekend in May 2025 with our two dogs. It has all the basics for a no frills getaway and close enough to all the local flair. We were in town for the grand reopening of the Cherry Bowl Drive-In, which is just down the street. This cabin is right on the river which was cool. It shares a wall with another cabin, but we never heard the other occupants. Our agenda didn’t allow us to take advantage of the other fun activities...
