« The Quiet Cottage, also known as Stolhammer Hus, is the perfect base to explore the Mesabi Bike Trail and the Range. The house is very clean, well equipped, and very comfortable. Great screened in porch, as well as a deck that has you sitting in the woods. The host is great, very accessible and helpful with local recommendations. I would highly recommend the Quiet Cottage in the Woods! »

« Exceptionally clean and quite comfortable. Near supermarket, liquor store, visitor center which made it a convenient base for our multi day trip. The host was responsive with the booking, directions for location and access and overall a good communicator. »

« This place was incredibly sweet and a perfect spot for our family to end our North Shore vacation. Very old-school and absolutely charming. Rooms were tidy and very welcoming. Loved the quilts on the beds, the wonderful kitchen, cozy living room, and the incredible views of the lake. We will be returning next summer! »

« We stayed in this cabin for our girls weekend Friday- Sunday. We had a campfire both nights - all the wood for the fire, chairs, marshmallow sticks, etc were there for us to use which was so nice! We used the kitchen for a couple of our meals, and all dishes we needed were in there. Everything was very clean and well maintained! It is close to so many parks/waterfalls/trails etc. so that’s what we did all weekend was explore and relax and this cabin and the location of it were perfect for our...
