« They call themselves pet-friendly, but actually mean dog-friendly. We got to town in the middle of the night having already paid for my room and were turned away because one of my emotional support animals is a cat instead of a dog. Hotels need to stop claiming to be pet friendly when they only allow dogs. They are not even ESA-friendly - how do they call themselves pet-friendly?? The lady just stood there and said they have a strict no cat policy. She didn't offer to help us find another place...

« The camper was nice and comfortable. The Island had a good breeze, so the mosquitos were almost non-existent, and the trees are tall and plentiful for shade and a good resting place for a bald eagle one morning we were there. We rented the owners fishing boat and it was very nice for checking out the the different islands and bays. Owner was very accommodating for making sure we had everything we needed and supplied multiple containers of gas and even ice in his own coolers, so we didn't have to...

« Amazing hospitality at this little bed and breakfast. Lots to explore -- Bear Head Lake State Park (a jewel) and local beaches on Lake Vermillion are not to be missed. »

« This place was perfect for a quick stay before our trip in the Boundary Waters. My only issues were, it would be nice to know ahead of time that this place shares a bathroom with the whole house rather than being a private bathroom with the room. Some more info about checking in would also be nice ahead of time, we showed up to the place with no information on what door to go, where the room was etcetera.The folks running the Inn were super friendly and helpful! I would definitely stay there...
