Déçu. Accueil comme températures extérieures
Déçu. La chambre était grande et bien décorée, très propre mais le lit peu confortable, et surtout il faisait très froid dans la salle de bains. Le spot chauffant et le chauffage dans la chambre par climatisation ne suffisent pas... Mais le plus décevant était l'accueil ; peu de considération, aucun sourire,très désinvolte... Rarement vu aussi peu d'intérêt pour les clients. Heureusement au départ le réceptionniste était plus jovial.

Hôtel sympathique a 10min des chutes
Hôtel sympa, style art déco. Un peu vielleau les chambres, mais très così quand même. Le service très agréable et attentive. Un petit mot du manager à l'arrivée dans la chambre est également une attention très sympathique. Parking gratuit et sécurisé. Lit très confortable. Seul bémol sont le petit déjeuner qui n'est pas digne d'un 4*, même s'il est compris dans le prix. Aussi le bruit de la ventilation de la salle de bain est juste horrible, c'est la qu'on voit que l'hôtel n'est plus très jeune.

The rooms are beautiful. The hotel is beautiful and so conveniet to everthing we wanted to do in Niagara Falls. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was so friendly and willing to help with everything. If we go back there we will stay at the Giacomo

The property in no way resembled the marketing that online. The cleanliness of the hotel was poor, especially the bathroom which had towels and other debris under the sink form previous guests. The breakfast was very poor, all served on cardboard plates and plastic cutlery.

Great central location. Starting with floor 8 there are residences, so this hotel is a combination. Room is great, breakfast is a bit limited.

I was attracted to the Giacomo hotel because it is an Art Deco building that was converted to a hotel. Sadly, it fails on many accounts and I will not be going back. It's too bad, because I was looking forward to staying there.

Loved the decor. The Giacomo is beautifully decorated and not run of the mill. The staff couldn't be better, from the check-in folks to the breakfast staff who prepared more coffee quickly, even though we appeared at the tail end of the breakfast time. The bar staff went out of their way to make more brownies for us in the evening, and the entertainment value is unmatched. We received quite a history of the area from the staff, with interesting stories to accompany, particularly from Lori, the bartender. My husband and I look forward to our next visit and would definitely stay at The Giacomo.

Well, your staff there made us feel like we had come home from a long journey. Miss T. at the front desk took such good care of us. The bartenders, Tiffany was cute but Lorrie she had us in stitches' and really knew her stuff. I know that I am leaving out a lot of people from the others on the front desk to the young men that prepared our breakfast. Which was always good, they really made sure that everyone was well taken care of. We usually stay at the large chain hotels but were really pleased by the Giacomo. Your staff and fellow guest made our vacation wonderful. Thank you.

After a long train journey from New York, we needed somewhere quiet and comfortable for our stay in Niagara, NY. We are so pleased we chose this hotel. The location was perfect - just a short stroll to the falls and near some good bars and eateries. The staff were super helpful and the check-in was as easy as it could be. Our room was on the seventh floor (I think) and was spacious and comfortable. Just what we needed after a long journey. Very happy with the hotel and would recommend without hesitation.

Bad experience. We travelled with our 14-year-old who is disabled and in wheelchair. We booked a handicapped accessible room with roll-in shower. After checking in we found the hand-held shower head was removed and the shower had only a fixed shower head that was hanging really high. There was no way our son could take a shower. We asked the front desk to help put in a hand-held shower or change the room. We were told there was no service staff and there was no other accessible rooms available. We were given a different room with two queen beds. When we arrived we noticed the bathroom was not cleaned (urine in the toilet). We asked the front desk to clean the bathroom and was told no. We were transferred to another room with the same configuration and were told this was the last option. The room didn’t have space to turn the wheelchair around. We had to park the wheelchair at the entrance and carry our son into the room. The front desk was rude and careless.

Sorry that your stay was less then satisfactory. We work very hard to try and make every guest happy to stay with us. I have discussed these issues with my staff to avoid anything like this happening again in the future.

Friendly and responsive staff and building is iconic in the area -- a wonderful observation deck is available to guests that gives a 360 degree view that includes the falls.

Unique hotel, cool feel. Quiet! Jets on tub did not work, no safety bars for tub or shower, but otherwise great layout, upstairs room was great for views. Great location! Can walk to everything. Would stay there again.

Stay away!!!! This was easily one of the worst experiences for me. This hotel is run down! The TOILET seat was old and broken!!! The water pressure was non existent. The staffs are certainly uninformed on how to treat the guests. So happy that it was only one night!

One of best stays. I read some negative reviews and totally not true. The ceiling pipes are safety sprinkler system and not noticeable unless you look directly at the ceiling. This is a green hotel which means the a/c or heater operates only when there are people in the room. So it takes about 30 to get the room to your temperature setting. The beds are super comfortable and the free breakfast is excellent. It is 5-10 walk to falls. Walk to rainbow bridge is 10min. Bridge walk takes less than 10 min. Security check time depends on how busy it is. Overall, we love it.

Loved the boutique aspect of the hotel. Loved the architecture and interior. Great view of the city from the very top floor. My only comment would be our bathroom. There was a bit of black mould in some of the grout lines and in the shower floor corners.
