Riads à Newport

« Very well maintained and fab to stay. We had dinner there and it was fabulous. I booked a table in advance. It was full when we were there, so would recommend booking ahead. Steak and shiraz with a peppercorn sauce. Breakfast was set out on a full table to help yourself with juices, cereal, pastry, croissants, toast and there were jams a plenty to chose, along with marmite. There were muffins and bars along with fruit basket. We were greeted and asked if wale would like tea or coffee. Staff...

« Location. Dusty in nooks and crannies. The inside of the velux window in the bathroom is completely covered in old spiders webs with flies that have been there a while. »

« Great rooms with good air conditioning. Very nicely appointed and the restaurant downstairs was fantastic. Would recommend and would definitely stay here again. »

« We had a very nice stay and the property is very well situated just off the Town Centre from where you can catch a bus to anywhere on the island. Very good breakfast and the owner was very nice and helpful. The only slight downside was that the television in the room was very small. »

« The staff was very helpfull and friendly. Great food. »

« The property was beautiful and basically in the middle of the woods so dead easy for dog walking - also and outside hose which was really handy considering how muddy it was! It was freezing when we arrived but the heating, once I figured it out was effective. Unfortunately there were no logs or kindling for the fire which would have been beautiful. « Our stay was luvly, right qhere we wanted to be very cl8se to the beach, rooms very comfortable and clean.Rosemary and David are very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are brilliant, we had something different each day and no complaints from us and the warm lemon drizzle cake was divine. »

« A warm welcome! You would immediately feel like being at Home. Very good value. To be recommanded. »

« Location is the best asset. Bedroom was fine but very little character and located on the ground floor we could hear some AC noise right outside our window with no view. Breakfast was gorgeous with plenty of choice and service was mainly done by youngsters on training trying their very best. Worst experience was dinner especially puddings. We complained and after talking to manager and cook, it was taken off our bill. »
