The location is perfect if you want to walk in NYC and be right on Times Square! However, the state of the hotel is terrible. I was hoping from older comments that things had changed pre-covid, but it wasn't the case. Only two tiny elevators working, no restaurant on-site. Half of the place was down due to renovations on the main floor (which I completely understood), but we had never received any email warning us this would be the case, as other properties tell you even ahead of booking. I had booked a deluxe room with king bed and a view on Times Square. The first night, they were overbooked and crammed us into a closet-like room with two double beds, holes in the walls, a shower curtain that sticked to us while showering and no pressure at all (although hot water, so there's a plus!), a toilet roll that was installed barely a foot from the floor next to the toilet (I'm short, but not THAT short), screws coming out in different places, AC leaking on the carpet the entire night and a bed frame that squeaked. We changed room the next day after I went down at 11pm on the first night to say how unhappy I was. They cancelled the facility fees for the entire stay and moved us the next day. That room was a bit better, but that AC was making so much noise that we had to sleep with pillows over our head (and we're not light sleepers), same shower curtain issue, but more space and a better view; still not worth the stay. Customer service was amazing the entire time though!
