Bien pour le tangariro crossing
Hotel bien situé pour le tangariro crossing le reste c'est bof bof accuiel tres froid chambre étriquée et pas pratique, chauffage grille pain faisant du bruit entre dormir et avoir froid il faut choisir.

Wow Im so surprised by your comment our lodge is set up snowy conditions there is gas heaters electric heaters in ever single room including bathrooms and communal spaces. Did you not turn them on. We only have toasters in our two bedroom apartments which are located in the kitchen which is 20meters away from the bedrooms. Im not use if you have the right place for this review

Our budget room suit all styles of travelers. The rooms have a double bed and set of bunks which suits families or couples or just friends travelling by them selves.

For a stay near Whakapapa with a common kitchen with all that you need. And a nice welcome. Rooms are basic but efficient. A nice place.

Our Lodge is great for travellers on a budget. We have all your needs in one area no need to go outside.

The property was well located for the Tongariro Crossing shuttles, and good information was provided about local facilities. It was a shame that my own stay wasn’t a positive one - I spent one morning chasing a mouse around the room and was told there wasn’t anything they could do. Any aerosols used set off an alarm that woke everyone up at 6am. I feel like I massively overpaid for what felt more like a hostel experience.

Thank you for your feed back. We are a rural property with winter knocking on the door. Its great that you told us about the mouse - I suspect he is trying to find somewhere warm. Aerosols and Fire alarms its a shame the aerosols set the alarms off, glad it was a can of deodorant and everyone is safe and sound

We booked a room in the lodge, and we rather disappointed in the room. The listing and the description did not match the room. The Expedia listing stated room was double with single (although the bed was listed as queen, it was not). The "single" was a bunk bed, and it made the room extremely cramped - and hard to move around. The listing should be more accurate, and clearly state that the rooms in the lodge share a bathroom at the end of the hall. The room was clean and well kept, but very cramped. Another room we saw in the lodge had only one bed and that configuration would be much better than the one we booked.

We are happy with Expedia breakdown of our Lodge rooms Looking at the listing this is what Expedia promote: Standard Room, Shared Bathroom, Garden View9.2/10 Wonderful1 Double Bed and 1 Twin Bunk BedFree WiFiFree self parking12 sq mThe room you peered into was ensuite room which is a Queen bed own bathroom

This is a hikers/skiers place — very basic but great location and reasonable price. We had a 2-bedroom unit— queen in one, two singles in other. Small living space included a good little kitchen. Right in the heart of the village so good access to everything. Beds were pretty soft, but passable. We’d stay there again given the great access. Pretty clean and pretty quiet.

Great feedback and thank you. We have been and still are investing in the two bedroom apartments. New appliances- Oven/stove/ Dishwasher, Extractors, Bedcaps, Carpet , new couches & Queen beds are on the way. Investing in the bathroom set up also.

Can improve on hardware, but fantastic staff.
Great to have them drop us off at the train station at the end of our atay. They were also kind enough to let us check out later as our train left at 3pm. Vicky is passionate about her job and is very caring and friendly. Efficient and no fuss. The onky draw back is the the apartment we stayed has 2 levels, and going to the bathroom at night means negotiating steps which is not user friendly for the aged and the young. The heater in the sitting room is also very noisy and the sofa-bed is broken. Due to the above in-room issues, my husband didn't rest well. Otherwise it will be a five star.

Hello, Thnak you for your feedback we do have a great team on board we all love what we do. Sorry to hear about our Gas heater they warm the room fast. Yes in did our couches are ready to go, not long and our new couches will be here.

Beautiful! I stayed in a king pod, it was fantastic. It was spacious, clean, had a fridge, microwave and kettle. The lady at check in was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

We choose this property as it was convenient when attempting the Tongariro crossing. We choose the shared facilities so much like a youth hostel with lots of kitchen equipment and shared bathroom. Really good to speak to other guests who had their own stories about their travels. Would stay here again as lots of other hikes around the area. The crossing was ama img as we luckily had a perfect sunny day.

Thank you, We have budget accommodation in one wing. private rooms, 2 bed room apartments fully self contained and King Studio pods. On site is a communal kitchen and lounge for self catering guest. Thank you for staying with us

Leuk verblijf Mooie gemeenschappelijke ruimte met keuken, eetruimte en zitruimte Ook opties Om buiten te zitten Nette kamers, koffie en thee mogelijkheid Leuk ook dat er een eigen lavabo is op de kamer. Zo hoef je niet altijd naar de gemeenschappelijke badkamer Nadeel, slechte isolatie. Je hoor echt alles. Door de trekking vertrekken veel mensen nog voor 6u en is er dus veel lawaai van heel vroeg

Stayed in one of their’pods’. Nice and new but was a bit tight for space when using the sofa bed.

Our brand new studios are 17msq and with the sofa bed it is tight. Studios have a King bed, Tea & coffee amenities, Microwave, Bathroom
