The grounds were very beautiful, spacious and very well kept. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The buildings are in need of some repairs. Many of the roofs had shingles coming off and leaking water, our block of rooms lost hot water for a day. The water coming out of the tap had some rust in it, before and after the boiler malfunction. My room hadn’t changed at all since my last trip here 10 years ago. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Rooms and bathrooms are very old and need total overhaul. Very less vegetarian options. Do not stay here as you would waste your money. They pretend online and otherwise they are full but rarely see any room occupants or movement. Extremely expensive room and food prices are mind boggling. When you order anything at restaurants, you will get it atleast after 30 minutes..

Hotel close to JKUAT in Juja, Kenya.
Great stay at the Safari Park Hotel. Did not use the casino. Appreciated all the options for food--Japanese, Chinese, Italian, International. Lovely buffet breakfast. Service was terrific.

Perfect balanced work and pleasure
Safari Park Hotel and Casino is a wonderful place to stay for business or holiday. This hotel is so big and has so much to offer that you can't get bored. You have 5 world kitchen restaurant, live acts, bars, lounges, fitness, swimming pool, wellness, spa, etc. I loved my stay there.

I visit this hotel regularly on my way in/out of Nairobi as it's convenient to the airport and has loads of amenities. It is a charming place with lots to do and a great place to take a break away from work.

I've been visiting this hotel for a number of years. It has alot of character, amenities and the staff is great. It feels like a true African Safari-style getaway.

Safari Park hotel is one of the safest hotels with professionally pleasant staff. From the Gardner’s to the supervisors, every employee was helpful and pleasant to assist staff. Knowing that there is good lighting and securities in the compound of the hotel made me feel safe to leave the restaurants at night and walk to my room . Very satisfied with my stay.

The grounds are absolutely breathtaking which make up for the rooms which are average. The staff seemed overwhelmed by the conferences that were occurring. They accommodated the lack of ironing boards by pressing our items which was perfect! There was no low fat milk at the coffee bar (or nondairy options) and after a 15 minute wait apparently none in the entire hotel. Also, we upgraded for a 4th guest to stay in our "suite." We received the most terrible, dirty cot you could imagine with a paper thin mattress. We just double up in the small beds.

The property is NOT suited to white people, we were made to feel very unwelcome and when we complained about the service to our embarrassment the Manager ticked off members of staff in front of us, very uncomfortable situation, breakfast first 2 mornings at 9am we were unable to get butter for toast, waited 20 minutes or longer for coffee as conference guests clearly took priority as at the poolside awaiting towels and loungers, 500 shillings for a tennis ball - every item was an additional cost, 50% discount on breakfast for one morning was received but with 2 children it was not about the finances it was about having breakfast and an enjoyable stay, having visited in particular Nairobi and stayed at various hotels this was shockingly a dreadful experience, never ever again - City Hilton for example provides by far a top service with a lovely warm pool and the staff exceptional unlike I am sad to say with the Safari Park Hotel

The hotel is situated in a beautiful park, it has swimming pools, which I haven't tried, several restaurants of which one works around the clock. Staff are very ncie and service in general was good. The room was very big, with a nice balcony overlooking the park, good amenities and comfortable bed with mosquito netting. The hotel has a rustic feel, and overall is very charming, a green oasis outside of Nairobi.

Storico lodge di lusso di Nairobi ormai fatiscente
Sono rimasto molto deluso. Ha ancora le vestigia di un lodge di lusso ma non è stato rinnovato dal 1992 e cade a pezzi. I rubinetti del bagno sono ossidati , il parquet (in camera da letto ed altrove) rammendato alla men peggio, gli arredi malandati e guasti, le piscine sporche. Per non parlare del servizio: hanno dimenticato di rifare la stanza dalle 8 alle 16 e ho dovuto litigare per ottenere che lo facessero alle 21. Un vero peccato perché la struttura sarebbe bella e prestigiosa.

Very nice, old fashioned style hotel
If you need a break from the Nairobean urban mayhem (that is yet so close to the city), this is definitely the place to be. We chose this hotel as a weekend hideout and were very happy with the quiet ambience and the nice facilities (swimming pool area, spa). There is also a great choice of different restaurants (from Japanese to traditional African cuisine). To have a drink at the rooftop of the main building (Hemingway lounge) with a nice overview over the area definitively puts you into an "Out of Africa" mood.

Deco a bit tired, good OK, staff tried hard but a bit slow. Lovely grounds. Main problem was the heat (30+ deg) and only ceiling fans for cooling so struggled to sleep!

Excellent hotel at a good value
The hotel is nice, with large clean rooms, several restaurants and nice shops. Service is good and staff very friendly. At the price we got , it was one an incredible deal! This was my third time there and it has never disappointed me so far. I'll go back if I'm going to Nairobi again. They have a good travel agent that organized safari's at Masai Mara at good rates.

Das Safaripark Hotel ist eine große Oase der Ruhe im hektischen Nairobi, ideal, wenn man nicht im CBD wohnen muß. Aufgrund der Großbaustelle der Thika Road, die aber in der ersten Häfte 2012 beendet sein soll, ist die Erreichbarkeit der Innenstadt eine Geduldsprobe. Gleiches gilt für die Anfahrt vom Flughafen. Nach Fertigstellung der Straße sollte sich das Problem aber geben. Das Hotel hat 3 1/2 voll gerechtfertigte Sterne. Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet. Die Badezimmer könnten eine Renovierung vertragen, dann würde ich das Hotel noch höher einstufen. Die Räume, alle mit Balkon oder Terrasse, haben Charme. Es gibt 5 Restaurants auf dem Gelände, Bars und Lobbies sowie eine Nyama Choma Ranch. Das Essen ist gut, etwas teuer für vergleichbare Leistungen in anderen Nairobi Hotels. Das Hotel hat mehrere Tagungsräume und wird entsprechend genutzt. Die während meines Aufenthaltes stattfindenden großen Meetings fand ich nicht störend. Der größte Aktivposten des Hotels sind die Mitarbeiter, die über die tyypisch kenianische Freundlichkeit hinaus Interesse am Wohlergehen der Gäste zeigen und auch noch gut ausgebildet sind, was vor allem im Restaurantservice, aber auch beim Housekeeping auffiel. Ein kleines Reservierungsmissverständnis bei Ankunft ließ sich mit expedias Hilfe lösen. Konkurrenzlos dürfte die gepflegte Garten- und Parkanlage mit ihren Pools, Wasserfällen und naturnahen (asiatischen) Wassergärten und den vielen (ausgeschilderten) Pflanzen- und Baumarten sein.

Excellent Hotel - Read The Following...
This is an excellent hotel. It has 5 restaurants, shopping, pools and very good service. The rooms are clean, nice and have porches/balconies. It is a great place to stay before/after Safari and/or to have a professional or social function - as this is very common at this hotel. They have the setup and facilities for a successful event. My only caution would be that the hotel is a good 30-90 minutes from town - and with heavy traffic it can take longer to get to the City Centre. A trip there and back could cost up to 4,000SH. Thus, it's not the best place to stay if you have to go into town every day, but it is a very comfortable stay for other reasons as noted.

Wonderful oasis
The Hotel Safari Park is indeed an oasis, away from noisy Nairobi centre. The only problem is the roadconstruction which is taking forever, and in the night/ dark the road is not always safe due to incompetent drivers. Even at 05.00 am the ride back to the airport is dangerous. For the rest the hotel is highly recommendable to everyone

This will not be my last stay at this hotel.
This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. With Nairobi being a cautious place to be, in way of safety and confort, this hotel makes you believe you are in a different enviroment. In addition to the wonderful and friendly employees, they have a doctor that will make "room calls" if you are not feeling well FREE. I couldn't believe it because my husband became sick and the doctor was there within 30 minutes of me calling. The restaurants were wonderful, the free breakfast was out of this world, and we lacked nothing while staying there. I would be a spokesman for this hotel any day of the week. We loved it and can't wait until we return.

A birthday dinner at the St. Paul Grill was wonderful. Was so nice to be able to charge that bill to our room bill for the night. Went to the Science Museum to see the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit in the morning before we checked out.. all was great.
