Ruhe Oase La Roggiola
5 Nächte im La Roggiola, Ruhe und Erholung pur. Sind von hieraus zu Wanderungen aufgebrochen als auch mit dem Auto die Toskana erkundet. Check-in trotz Sprachbarriere ohne Probleme, Google-Translate sei dank. Leider waren unsere Vormieter wohl nicht die genausten beim Spülen, die Sauberkeit des Geschirrs ließ zu wünschen übrig, sodass wir vorab alles neu gespült haben. Zudem sollte man Spülmittel und Toilettenpapier dabei haben, es war nur eine Rolle ToPa vorhanden und ein wenig Rest Spüli. Den Grill draußen haben wir nicht genutzt, wurde uns auch nicht erklärt, zudem war auch kein Holz etc. vorhanden. Die Lage ist wirklich schön und man hat seine Ruhe, schöner Garten mit Sitzgelegenheiten.

Well, have been in that little “House on the Prayer” was the most Wonderful experience I have ever had. Love nature and being around and in the middle of It and the landscape and just for me for 12 nights, I made that home like it was mine. Simonetta was incredible with me, I got little sink and she came to check how I was doing. She was awesome. I felt like I was at my own home. The hose is lovely. Molto grazie Simonetta Io ame la tua casa. Hai una bella casa, ho vissuto il mio sogno e mi sono sentita anche a casa. Grazie di tutto. Ciao

Quiet Tuscan Retreat
We could not have been happier with our stay here. Simonetta greeted us on arrival and was very sweet. She explained how things work and gave us a quick tour, as well as letting us know she would be available if we needed anything else. We were pleasantly surprised to find an actual queen bed instead of a futon that we thought we would be on. The bathroom had also been recently renovated. The entire cottage was very clean. The view out back is beautiful! We were able to walk into town in less then 10 minutes which was perfect. The location was very convenient for touring throughout the region, close to Siena, Volterra, San Gigminano and only an hour from the coast. Would definitely recommend!

Peaceful little hideaway
I loved my stay at Simonetta’s little place. A hidden gem. It was very relaxing and perfect for wedding I was attending in Monticiano. I walked and used public transport although Simonetta did recommend hiring a car. Simonetta and her son were very kind to assist me with my arrival and check in to make sure I found the place okay. This place is perfect for nature lovers, with a beautiful outlook. I can highly recommend. Grazie Simonetta!

Das Haus ist klein aber fein und ist im Grunde mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Das komplett eingezäunte Grundstück war ein Traum für unseren Hund. Simonetta spricht nur italienisch, wir haben uns aber trotzdem verstanden und waren rundum zufrieden!

Waren schon einmal Gast, auch jetzt alles prima, das Haus hat alles was es braucht um glücklich zu sein, Wunderschönes Grundstück, gute Lage, Schwimmbad im Ort selbst, Siena nicht weit, Meer ebenso und auch die heißen Quellen sind gut zu erreichen, wunderbar.

Bijzonder prettig. Het huisje overtrof alle verwachtingen. Alleen maar lof. Tuin, badkamer, woon,/slaapkamer en de keuken waren alemaal prima. Er is niets op aan te merken.

Netter Empfang, freundliche Gastgeberin, gemütliches, sehr gut ausgestattetes, tadellos sauberes Haus in traditioneller Bauweise, sehr bequemes, breites Bett, schönes, grosses, ruhiges Grundstück mit vielen Bäumen und schönen Pflanzen, von der überdachten Terrasse eine weite Aussicht, auch für unseren Hund ein Paradies. Ideale Ausgangslage für Wanderungen in der Umgebung und Ausflüge zu attraktiven Zielen wie z.B. Siena, San Galgano (auch als Wanderung erreichbar), das charmante Monticiano in fussläufiger Entfernung. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Soggiorno estremamente piacevole
Abbiamo prenotato questa struttura per la fine dell'anno in modo da allontanare i nostri cagnolini dalla città e da botti e petardi, di cui sono terrorizzati. E siamo stati pienamente soddisfatti dalla casa, che, seppur piccolina, è dotata di ogni confort e si trova in una zona silenziosa e molto bella. Siamo stati accolti da Simonetta, una host gentilissima e cortese e da sua suocera, una signora molto dolce, le quali ci hanno dato la loro piena disponibilità per ogni esigenza. Siamo stati molto molto soddisfatti da questa nostra "mini fuga" e sicuramente prenoteremo di nuovo in primavera per goderci la casa ed il giardino appieno.

Il soggiorno è stato incredibilmente rilassante. La casa è piccola ma ha tutto ciò che serve. Nonostante l’inverno la casa è sempre stata molto calda. È arredata con uno stile rustico, è molto accogliente. L’esterno è il punto forte della casa. Simonetta è sempre stata disponibile e premurosa. In procinto di partire ci siamo accorti che una ruota della macchina si era sgonfiata. Il marito di Simonetta e suo figlio sono stati gentilissimi e disponibili, e ci hanno aiutati con piacere. 5 stelle, consigliatissimo!

Hier kann man wunderbar vom Alltag entspannen. Von dort aus sind viele Toscanische Sehenswürdigkeiten und Städte gut zu erreichen. Unser Hund hatte viel Platz zum springen da der große Garten super eingezäunt ist. Die Besitzerin und ihr Sohn sind super nett. Sehr zu empfehlen

Sehr freundliche und äußerst hilfsbereite Vermieter. Super schön gelegen. Gut ausgestattet und liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Ort ist fußläufig erreichbar und typisch Toskana. Die Osteria ist hervorragend, eine Pizzeria, eine Bar, eine Apotheke und ein Lebensmittelgeschäft bieten alles was man braucht. Wir haben die Zeit in z gestörter Rihe und herrlicher Umgebung genossen. Im Garten gibt es dazu eine überdachte Terrasse mit Tisch und Stühlen, im großen Garten gibt es Liegestühle, Sonnenschirm und eine Hängematte. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Bella località...ma se si viaggia in moto non è l'ideale
Aspetti positivi: - Posto molto carino e ben curato, immerso nella natura ed inserito in un bel contesto paesaggistico; ideale per una vacanza tranquilla da single o in coppia. - Ideale anche se si vuole trascorrere una vacanza sia di mare sia visitando l'entroterra in quanto si trova a 1 ora o poco più da Follonica o Castiglione della Pescaia, piuttosto che 45 min da Siena, oppure 1 ora/1 ora e 15 min da Montalcino/Pienza (questi i tempi in moto senza considerare quindi eventuali code). Aspetti negativi: - La strada principale di accesso alla casa è una stradina sterrata di circa 100 mt in salita, con un po' di sassi e buche ed un ultimo tratto abbastanza ripido; da evitare in moto. C'è una via di accesso secondaria dove si percorrono circa 200 mt di strada sterrata e poi si attraversa un prato per circa 100 mt, che in moto è sicuramente più percorribile ma alla lunga risulta scomoda. - Nel caso di brutto tempo/freddo, nell'impossibilità di spostarsi o quantomeno di utilizzare la tettoia esterna, già solo se si è in coppia lo spazio all'interno della casa risulta scarso. - Bagno carino che però si "allaga" quando si utilizza la doccia. - Casa sprovvista di lavatrice.

Ciao Simonetta, Grazie per la bella vacanza. Una regione e dei luoghi bellissimi. È piaciuto anche al nostro golden retriever. Avevamo tutto ciò che ci serviva. Wir waren auf Elba und wollten uns noch einige Centro Storico anschauen was bei der Hitze anstrengend war und das Ferienhaus war genau richtig um von dort zu starten und um anschließend auszuspannen in absoluter Idylle. La proprietà è bellissima, circondata completamente dalla natura e dal bosco. Simonetta è gentile è super disponibile per qualsiasi cosa. La casa ha tutti i comfort. Noi abbiamo utilizzato anche il forno a legna e Simonetta ci ha gentilmente fornito anche la legna e tutto l’occorrente. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente!

Wir waren sehr zufrieden, die Lage war ruhig so wie wir es wollten. Die Vermieterin war unkompliziert und nett. Das Haus etwas klein, aber für zwei Personen mit Hund braucht es nicht mehr. Für Hunde perfekt... Lucki mein Hund hat sich auch sehr wohl gefühlt :-)

Liebevoll eingerichtetes kleines Steinhaus in ruhiger Lage. Ein wunderschöner Ort um zur Ruhe zu kommen. Da bleibt nur noch der Wunsch nach einem bequemen Bett. Diese Schlafcouch ist ungenügend. Hier gibt es sonst nichts, was nicht einfach schön und sympathisch ist. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder zu Simonetta zurück und bedanken uns für alles.

Wieder einfach ein Traum
Wer Ruhe sucht, Abgeschiedenheit und Einfachheit wird es lieben. Das Bad ist neu und schön, die Küche ist klein und mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet. Alles ist sehr sauber. Der Garten ist ein Traum - unvergleichbar; mit vielen Schattenspender. Mit Gartenzaun 100%ig abgeschlossen ist er ideal für Hunde. Wer Glück hat, sieht Wildschweine und Rehe oder Hasen im angrenzenden Wiesenstück. Die Lage ist eher waldig, keine Aussicht auf die toskanischen Hügel. Ins Dorf mit Bars, Restaurant und Coop ist es 15 Gehminuten. Siena ist ca. 40 Autominuten entfernt. Wir sind Wiederholungstäter - nirgends in der Toskana hat es uns so gut gefallen wie hier.

We stayed at La Roggiola for 10 days with a dog in September.
It was a nice experience. We were looking for a quiet small house with a big garden and fences around it. Pluses: The location of the house is great! Super quiet and the neighbors are far so they won’t bother you. Many attractions and beautiful places in Tuscany are within one hour car drive. You can visit a winery or go to a beach, go to Siena or Florence or visit a park with waterfalls, it’s up to you. Big garden with fences around is definitely a huge plus! A little tip: wake up in the early morning and you’ll see deers walking behind the fences, beautiful. Pizza oven in the garden is an amazing experience of making your own Italian pizza. The house is small, but it’s perfect for two people and it have everything you need including conditioning. Hosts are super nice and helpful when you have some emergencies! Minuses: Unfortunately, the house is not as clean as you expect it to be when you’re in a vacation. We knew it is not a 5 star hotel and it didn’t cost us a fortune, but it doesn’t mean you should skip the cleaning part. The shower curtain and a shower shelf in the bathroom were dirty with someone else’s hair and many dead mosquitoes. On the floor we found so many finger nails which didn’t belong to us. In the shower there was a silicon rug on the floor. This is absolutely not hygienic and I cannot imagine how many times the owner actually cleaned and disinfected it. In the kitchen we had to wash the dishes twice to remove the fat and flakes, the fridge was also not clean inside. The couch/bed is definitely not made for sleeping longer that two days on it. It is very squeaky, you cannot turn without making a noice, and it becomes one huge hole in the middle when you lay on it. The main door. You cannot leave the house without the key, not even to take a sunbath or have a dinner outside. The door can’t be open from the outside, there is no handle. The only way to open it once you’ve closed it, is with the key. And in case you’ll forget the key in the door and the other door cannot be open as well, you’ll pay a fee for opening it. In our case we paid quite a fee for a job which honestly we could’ve done by ourselves. A little advice to the host: would be nice if you could place a spare key somewhere in the garden or to make a code key for such cases, so the guests wouldn’t have to bother you and focus on vacation and not thinking about forgetting the key.

Deze woning oversteeg onze verwachtingen. Wat je ziet op de foto's, krijg je in het echt en zelfs meer! We hebben ontzettend genoten van ons verblijf in het huisje en Monticiano. De ligging is super, dicht bij het centrum van het dorp dus alles is op wandelafstand. Het uitzicht is werkelijk prachtig, Toscane op z'n best!! Een echte aanrader voor mensen die er graag even tussenuit willen en willen geniet van de rust en de omgeving. Echt superlocatie! De eigenaren zijn ontzettend vriendelijk en zelfs als je geen Italiaans spreekt, doen ze hun best om alles in de mogelijke gebaren uit te leggen. Echt 10/10

Per noi è gia il secondo anno che torniamo, vacanze in tranquillità e in pochissimo tempo a piedi si è in paese dove c'è tutto ciò che serve piscina,pub,pizzeria, enoteca(👍ciao mirko),supermercato...se poi vuoi scoprire la bellezza della Toscana,in poco tempo con la macchina arrivi in posti bellissimi come Chiusdino,Massa Marittima Pienza, Montepulciano,Montalcino,Finenze,Siena....e.il rilassante Parco Fluviale della Val d'Elsa...❤ Simonetta ottima padrona di casa😚

Posto immerso nel verde, con un giardino enorme, ideale per cani (il nostro l’ha adorato). Paese vicino anche a piedi e tanti luoghi d’interesse vicini. I proprietari sono gentilissimi, ospitali e cordiali.
