Parfait
Malgré la seule nuit que nous avons passé dans cet établissement, nous avons pris le temps de profiter de la piscine et du bain à remous chauffé. La chambre est grande ainsi que la salle de bain. Très bel adroit.

Stayed here for a girls weekend and had a great time. Liked the free wine from 5-6 and the spa. It’s also close to many of the popular restaurants in downtown Monterey.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the “hotel.” Honestly, it felt like a small step higher then a Travel Lodge. I had read that rooms had been updated…yes they were…years ago. All areas had very dim lighting, a musty smell, seemed run down and dated. I had reserved a deluxe room w/queen. The room was awful. First, it was on the first floor. The door pretty much opened into the parking area and there was NOTHING deluxe about it. Being that I was by myself (female), I honestly didn’t feel safe with staying in the room. The parking area where the door opened up to was not secure to those not staying at the hotel. Anyone from the street could walk right on to the property and up to your door or window. I went to the front desk and requested a different room which they did accommodate. Note, the gentleman at the front desk no personality! The room I was switched to was slightly more deluxe then the first one (if you could call it that). You could clearly see the room had not been vacuumed. The carpet had stains, as did the lampshades. Bedding had hair on it. I slept in my clothes on top of the comforter I was so grossed out. Note,the walls are thin, the different floors have a very strange layout and if your anywhere near the pool, it’s loud. I almost didn’t stay and was so close to making the four drive home. The only saving grace was the complimentary glass of wine at happy hour and the awesome bar tender. I definitely needed it in order to stay the night there.

We loved our stay for the Big Sur marathon, convenient location for the events and easy walking to Fisherman's Wharf and Cannery Row. Great breakfast and happy hour service. Friendly helpful staff. Slight delay when our safe needed a battery but overall a great stay!

The room was clean and very quiet. The room was spacious. A microwave was added upon request. The property and area around the property felt safe. There was plenty of free parking. The breakfast options were good. The sink in the room did not have much counter space around it. The hotel was clean and well-kept.

The screen on our balcony door had a giant hole in it and the fireplace didn’t work, but the bed was comfortable and the pool and spa were lovely. The staff was top notch and the breakfast was really good.

Positives: Safe location and relatively clean. Negatives of our room: Sink plugged (took about 3-5 minutes to drain properly), key did not work initially, iron did not work (replacement did not work either), fireplace only stayed on for one to two minutes. Overall, a bit disappointed.

Convenient. Nice clean airy rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. I would have liked a microwave in room as I like hot tea and Keurig doesn’t cut it - and I like a teabag. But the front desk staff gave me hot water which was good. Aquarium is a 10 minute drive or 45 minute walk.

This was our first time staying at this hotel. I traveled with my daughter and husband over spring break. The hotel was beautiful and clean. The staff members were extremely friendly and always helpful. We enjoyed our free breakfast every morning. Parking was easy. And the location was ideal! Just 10 minutes from the Monterrey aquarium and 10 minutes to Carmel! We are definitely going back next time!

The hotel staff was great--specifically Ernie at the bar. The hotel was quiet, but I felt it could use with additional cleaning and updating. The mini-split AC had a stale smell in the air and there were some cobwebs in the outdoor halls.
