The Sweet Spot: Fun-Filled Fall Getaway

Just one hour north of NYC, this large renovated and professionally designed farmhouse is your personal oasis. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the great outdoors, as well as easy access to nearby activities. The Sweet Spot offers tons of entertaining space–both indoors and outdoors– modern and high-end finishes, as well as five bedrooms, an open concept chef’s kitchen and an inground pool on the premises.

The Sweet Spot is managed by a professional vacation rental management company, Home Sweet Hudson. They will provide you with on-the-ground support for any questions or issues that may arise during your stay.

The house is accessible via Smartlock technology.

The property features:

KITCHEN: The bright and spacious kitchen features an open concept with an island for easy entertaining and functional bar seating. Enjoy all of the appliances and modern comforts you’ll need to enjoy meals and entertaining, opening up to a full dining room with seating for ten people.

LIVING SPACE: There are two living areas–one formal living room with a wood burning stove and a family room with large Smart TV and an electric fireplace perfect for lounging.
The first floor includes two bedrooms–the primary suite with a King sized bed and ensuite bathroom and an additional bedroom with a Pottery Barn single bed with a window looking out over the front garden and an old sugar maple tree.
The second floor has three more bedrooms including 1 King bedroom, 1 Queen bedroom and a office/flex space with two single beds, desk and reading nook.

OUTDOOR SPACE: Off of the main house there is a six foot table with seating and a firepit in addition to the in-ground pool with an open air barn for lounging out of the sun.
VISITING FOR A SPECIAL OCCASION? With all of the space available, feel free to ask about booking a private wine tasting, private yoga session or massage therapist. We can help you book a special treat to make your stay unique!

Perfect spot for getting away

We went to visit Family in Patterson, Walkill, and Warwick and this place is a nice distance from all 3. Has all the necessities for cooking in and is close enough to town for eating out. There were 5 of us in our group, but the home can comfortably sleep 9, as there were 3 empty twin beds. The 3 bathrooms make it extra convenient for big groups

We loved our stay at Homesweethudson. The whole experience was great. Check in/out was simple and straight forward. The home was very conducive to great conversations and fellowship. The back yard was very private and the firepit was awesome. The home was very clean and nicely decorated. We will look to stay here again.

"Senior" GSC Roommates enjoy another getaway

This home was a nice combination of the old and the new. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had all that was needed. The pool was kept open and we appreciated that courtesy. There was a smell of smoke when we came although smoking is not allowed. I recommended that a grab bar be installed in the showers. The fences were in need of repair and too much growth on the property. It was delightful to see deer come visit for 2 of the days. Bottom line, we enjoyed our stay and thank you for promptly answering every question which came your way!

Beautiful Home

The house was beautifully decorated, clean, bright well stocked and very comfortable! Our only comment is that there was only one smoke detector, which is dangerous for your guest and the owner. Other then that, we would stay there again anytime!!

Beautiful Home

This was a great house to stay in with our group of nine adults. The house was beautifully decorated, clean and very comfortable for our group. The owner/management company was very responsive from start to finish. We throughly enjoyed our stay. I even forgot my book at the house and they reached out to me right away to alert me and UPS'd it to me. Great weekend, great house. I highly recommend.
