We were in town to visit family who live just down the road. The hotel has excellent public transport access (Tram across the road). It was great for our needs. It is perhaps feeling its age a bit - but it was quite good for us. Nearby Albert Park offers a great place to walk. There are a number of reasonable restaurants nearby and the beach front is very close.
Great location. Walking distance to my son's home. Great hairdryer, warm blankets, lots of tea , heated room, nice shutters and blackout blinds. Quiet. Close to tram, coffee shops, grocery store and beach .
This hotel does not have a lift so you will be carrying your own luggageâs up the stairs. There is also no microwave, thereâs no breakfast service. There is no parking facility, only street parking and limited. The shower head is so close to the wall youâd need to shower against the wall. Only thing is a comfortable bed.
My favourite place to stay in Melbourne, but there are definitely good and bad rooms. Room 102 is a dud. Big olâ rattley air conditioner outside the window providing freight train level nighttime wake-up calls.
Servicd a little bit hit and miss. Enthusiasm levels waning.
