The property is adjacent to the Rosebud Golf Club. It is older but is being progressively updated to a good standard. The rooms are large; well appointed and comfortable and clean. Parking is directly outside. It is a quiet area, staff are friendly and helpful. We have stayed several times since 2016 - for golf and for its convenient central Peninsula location. It is very close to Rosebud township for food and groceries.We highly recommend this property otherwise we would not continue to return there.

Fairways is very convenient to Rosebud Golf and Rosebud township with golf and dining options convenient as are water sports. The rooms are large, well maintained, quiet and private and stocked with all the extras you need: ironing board and iron, hairdryer, toiletries with parking at the door and the golf club restaurant (dinner Wed to Sun only) two minutes away. Staff are friendly and efficient.

The atmosphere was just beautiful,the room was comfortable very clean my partner loves golf so this was the perfect spot for us we have stayed twice and just loved our stay

Luckily we only stayed for 1 night. The shower was problematic - often didn’t come on and then randomly would work once the tap was turned on fully. The shower head then mysteriously fell from its holder smashing into the tiles below it at 2am waking everyone in the family. The toilet had a slow leak and the bathroom basin would random spurt water with the tap fully on. Although the wifi worked in the afternoon - it couldn’t be accessed after 8.30 despite over 20 attempts over a 2 hour period. Overall the room was dusty and dirty and felt more like a cheap 3 star motel than what is advertised! Unfortunately overpriced for what you get.

Misleading amenities - "high speed internet" was listed, but on performing speed tests, speeds of only 18 mbps were received at. When asked about this, I was told "we pay for the highest speeds you can get on the peninsula. Expedia is a third party, we don't know who listed the amenities on there". Why would a customer care what you pay for or what you don't? I care about what amenities are promised and which ones aren't. Apart from that, the stay was quiet and it's in a nice location near the Rye beach.
