Yachtman’s is situated within the Dutch fort of Matara ,at the end of a narrow street overlooking the Indian Ocean, unspoilt by the times.

Unspoilt by the mass tourism, you are 10-15 minutes ride from the busy beaches of Mirissa and Weligama but once you enter the Fort, it has an authentic , unique Sri Lankan feel and vibe.

Yachtman’s is built in contemporary modern architecture with inviting, open floorplan that blends inside and out.
Featuring spacious and air-conditioned 60sq/meter bedroom and 20sq/m terrace on the first floor, the house is both cozy for a couple while being able to accommodate up to 5 guests. All beds feature 25cm high European mattresses and high-end bedding for your sleeping comfort. Ensuite bathroom is spacious with hot water and rain shower. Bedroom features wall-to-wall windows for a panoramic sea view. The wall of windows can be fully opened to bring the outdoors in, upon your prefence.

The openplan living, dining and kitchen area on the ground floor is bright with wall-to-wall sliding glass doors that can be opened to let the sea breeze in. Beyond the wide verandah, the property wall feature in-built windows that can be opened for the breeze or closed for the privacy as needed. The large ground floor bathroom is supplied with hot water.
Above the 1s floor is a large 80sq/m rooftop terrace with 360 views is ideal for an evening cookout while stargazing in the breeze.
