Sarah was really friendly and approachable. I wonder is the stairs might be a problem for elderly guests. The lain road through the village has a good number of HGV’s which was unexpected

Supertrevlig värd som hjälpte oss kolla om puben intill skulle kunna fixa mat på kvällen. Utmärkt rum med skön säng och gott om utrymme både på rummet och i badrummet. Frukosten var utmärkt, allt lagades efter hur vi beställde det. Rekommenderas starkt!

Sara made our stay feel like it was a home away from home. We were treated with respect and tended to our requirements. Sara’s fried breakfast was an amazing way to start the day. There was fresh linen when needed and plenty of refreshments.

We stayed for 4 nights in the master bedroom. Bed was really comfortable and we had our own large bathroom. We would go back but mainly because of Sarah, she is the hostess with the mostest and couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast was amazing 😋

We are doing a week cycle trip, stopping in many hotels along the way and by far this one was the best. Sarah hosted us with the cleanest room ever, and we had an amazing breakfast. It does look as everything has a lot of care, such as an family home. We will definitely come back just for the stay :)

Very hospitable and gave great advice about our plans. Food was top notch. Loved walking to pub, the Blarneycorn, next door after it was recommended by the owners. Church across the street had so much character backlit during the night.

Welcoming B&B in great location
Single night stay but wish it could have been longer. Located on working farm with friendly and welcoming owners. Everything was clean, bed very comfortable. Freshly cooked breakfast. Would definitely book again if in the location.

Manor Farm B & B a Gem
What a wonderful stay we had at the Manor Farm and enjoyed learning all about the history of the farm. Jackie and James care for their guests with an incredible amount of detail; there is a well organized book left in the room with everything from restaurant and sightseeing suggestions, to organizing private tours. The only comment I would make is that the single beds were quite hard and the duvets barely big enough to provide complete cover. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished we were able to stay longer.

Dear Susan, Thank you so much for your 10 out of 10 review and for calling us "a Gem". That's lovely, thank you. We are delighted you had a wonderful stay. We are sorry to hear you found our matresses quite hard. We last replaced all our mattresses in September 2017 with top quality hand-made pocket-sprung mattresses which have generally received wonderful reviews from our guests. We especially chose a medium firm level of support which seems to suit most people but I am sorry if this wasn’t to your liking. Our duvets in that room are a standard UK single size which seems appropriate for a standard UK single bed. Again I am sorry if this didn't suit you. I can understand that if you are used to sleeping in a double bed then a single can feel barely big enough. We do provide huge and gloriously soft blankets if guests wish to "secure" their duvet in place. But it sounds like this didn't prevent you enjoying your stay and wishing you could stay longer which we are very pleased about. You will be made very welcome if you come this way again. Comfortable, clean and great hosts!
The hosts Jackie and James were great; James cooks a very tasty breakfast to order with lots of options. The room faculties are plentiful; water bottles, tea & coffee (and plenty of milk so you can have a few each!) biscuits, face cloths, makeup removal flannel (!) toiletries, good wifi, large comfortable bed + bedding. Good location close to Marlborough and Stonehenge located in a peaceful village and stumbling distance to the local pub which sells food. Would not hesitate to recommend!

A very English experience
The owners are friendly and welcoming. We just stayed one night in the Rose Room. It’s a very traditional English experience with view of the country garden and a pub within walking distance that served excellent food. Breakfast of your choice is served on a shared dining room table. It was all very pleasant.

Fabulous Farmhouse
First impressions was WOW Jackie & her husband were superb Hosts and so helpful The Farmhouse itself was very cosy and I loved the character of the place, the bedroom was huge and clean and on arrival we had tea,coffee & biscuits 🍪 also bottle of Water on the side ready for us. In the lovely spacious bathroom, also very clean, there was plenty of Shower Gel, shampoo etc The dining room was huge and had a warm lovely atmosphere, on the sideboard there was several different cereals to choose from, yoghurts Fresh fruit, we could choose the cooked items of food that we wanted Different jams and the BEST Homemade bread 🍞 I have ever eaten in my life, in fact we were spoilt for choice and the quality of food was superb. The outside of the Farmhouse was very well looked after and tidy, and plenty of Parking space 😃 Will definetly stay again. Thank you both for a lovely stay From Wendy & Janet

Spotlessly clean farmhouse B&B
We chose this B&B to spend a few days prior to a conference in Bristol and very pleased we were too. We were met on the drive by Jim who runs the B&B with his wife Jackie. He was most welcoming and helped us carry our bag to the house. The immediate impression of the outside was how well kept it was and this continued inside where everything just felt fresh and clean - a major point score as far as I am concerned. We chose their Master bedroom which had high ceiling and spacious proportion, the en-suite bathroom had been converted from a previous adjacent smaller bedroom so was very spacious also for its current purpose. The bed was Queen size plus and the mattress was very comfortable. The furniture in the bedroom was suitably styled for a farm house including a slightly thread bare sofa, however, I mention this not as a negative point but rather an enhancement of the character of a farmhouse and the charm of a well love family home. The bathroom was again spotlessly clean with plenty of fluffy towels to use, together with all sort of complimentary cream & lotions. We requested in advance our favorite breakfast of fruit and a particular style of yogurt, this was provided with delicious fruits from Jackie's garden. This is one of the best B&B we have been to recently and fully deserve the 4* it has been rewarded. Indeed, considering all the attention to details,the lovely country views and general relaxing atmosphere, I would say it is 4*+++

Lovely place to stay near Marlborough
I was a guest for two days with a wonderfully warm and welcoming farming family. The setting and house was relaxing, clean, full of old charm and character and immaculately decorated and well furnished. The owners kindly showed me where to walk up some very quiet lanes round their farm surrounded by avenues of trees and woodland. The breakfast was great and set me up for the days there. I can’t speak highly enough of the place and owners. I will stay again and would recommend it to those that appreciate the quiet and warmth of the countryside and nice people. Thank you for your kind hospitality.

We were really pleased with our stay. Exceeded expectations. Very warm and attentive hosts who gave us our space but appeared instantly if we needed them. Room was spacious and very clean. Bed new and comfortable. Towels were amazing - so fluffy and soft!! Breakfast was extensive and tasty. Loved the veggie breakfast. The hosts are vegetarians but can confirm they also cook a great full English if you prefer!

Quality accommodation in Wiltshire
The hosts were most attentive and genuinely concerned to assure a high standard of service for guests. The room was large and quiet, with well-stocked coffee/tea-making facilities. A good breakfast was provided, which included both English cooked and a variety of uncooked extras (cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit etc.). Freshly-baked granary bread was available every morning (yummy!).

We stayed (with our six year old child) at Manor Farm over four nights. The room (the master suite) was spacious with views of the village church from the bedroom, and over a walled garden from the bathroom. The owners, James and Jackie, were delightful every time we saw them. The room was made up beautifully, and the breakfasts were great with freshly baked bread each day.

Very Nice B&B- we'll be back!
One of our favorite stays on our three week holiday traveling all over the United Kingdom. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Very nice accommodations. Breakfast was excellent (bread was terrific!) and the host had many recommendations for local sites. On your visit, please request seeing the book on the history of the farm (from James) highlighting the six generations of family that are still working the farm. We will be back :)

Feel at home here
Feel at home here with Jackie & James. This beautiful old home is very welcoming as are the hosts, and you are made to feel like family or friends rather than guests. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable and breakfast was a real treat. I highly recommend this as a place to stay when visiting Stonehenge, Avebury and the local area.

We arrived about 6pm-7pm . Parking was good. Warm welcome from owner James and showed us our double room with en suite. Very Clean. Quiet and relaxing. Room looking over the back garden. Old historic farm building which has been family run since 1880's. Barn conversion is now private cottages but has a lovely outlook. Should our stay have been longer , the owners provide interesting information regards surrounding areas. Excellent breakfast Well recommended
