We spent a night each at Marco Hilton on the way to and from a Memorial Day weekend in Key West. The front desk service was excellent during our stay on Fri May 24-25. The resort was busy with people how ever I was able to easily get an hour of late checkout so that we could get ready for a long ride to the Keys. However on the way back, for our stay on Mon May 27-28, while the resort was not busy at all, the front desk associate refused to grant us an extra hour at check out, claiming they were “very busy” on Tues the 28th and so would only give us an hour extension for a $50 fee. I spoke to 2 more people at the front desk and the best they could do for us is extra half an hour. We spent well over $600 on room, fees and food for 1 night… I also used to be a Hilton Honors member years back when I traveled for work. Also, we spent a week here 2 years ago, and service was always excellent. This year it was NOT (I had to ask 3 times to get 30 min delayed check out and was not even asked how was our stay when checking out), and so this makes me really question if we will be back or if I will continue to recommend this resort to our friends in North East.

Horrible pool service. Not enough staff, horribly inefficient process. Could not believe the lack of technology in the process. Fitness Center was small and equipment outdated. TV’s on treadmills not functional. Had to use restrooms inside hotel from pool, should be direct access from outside. No internet access.

Das Hotel ist gut zu erreichen. Der direkt am Hotel liegende Parkplatz kostet extra. Der Strand ist über einen Holzsteg direkt vom Hotel zu erreichen, wo man als Hotelgast gratis Stühle und Schirm zugewiesen bekommt. Der Pool ist sauber.

Everything was convenient and close by. Several restaurants and food options. Room was very clean and ocean view was excellent, also had view of the pool as well. Staff was very pleasant and extremely helpful. Definitely will be staying there again.

Extremely overpriced. The housekeepers are very rude and loud. Couldn't take a nap because of the noise they were making in the afternoon. The check out day, at 11 am, housekeepers knocked at our door although we had the "do not disturb sign" at the door to let us know that we had to leave the room. The bartenders were amateurs, didn't know how to prepare some drinks.

What an amazing stay. Truly amazing views and the beach is beautiful. The pool is great with poolside service. Room was big and clean. Spa was amazing. Steam room and great massage. Only thing that was bad was the shower in the room. Very weak pressure.

Great location for dining, shopping and of course the beach. They have great amenities, even a gift shop where they sell toothbrushes for $9. A big inconvenience was the wait for poolside staff and limited weird menu. Squash pizza?? Daiquiris were excellent but no service by the beach. You have to walk quite far if you want another beverage or something to eat. The room was fine, beds were uncomfortable and children running throughout the hotel at all hours makes it very noisy. Other than that, I love Marco and overall it was a great trip!

Absolutely TERRIBLE experience. I have never written a bad review in my life. The manager Malorie wrongly accused us of making too much noise. We paid for a full ocean view and forced us to move into a ground floor room above the parking lot. She should be fired and needs to learn about customer service. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody. I was also wrongly charged for several transactions and will be disputing them with my bank. Proceed with extreme caution.

The front staff was nice upon check in & offered us a free upgrade. We had a king w/ a partial room. Last minute trip trying to save a few. We were offered double queens full oceanview instead of a king partial ocean view. The rooms view was far & overlooked the pool more. It was on a low floor & then the air kept shutting off during the night. Also the sheets were scratchy & the bed was not very comfortable. Otherwise the room was clean & nice looking. The pool was extremely loud (no surprise there) & bothersome enough to have to shut our balcony door the whole time. The whole reason for a full ocean view was to have the door open till we went to bed. We enjoy the sound of the waves & it was a particularly windy day. That being said, the walkability is fantastic & if you have kids & don’t want quiet then this is your hotel! It’s just not what we were looking for & clearly should not have taken the “upgraded” room. A partial view is better than a full view w/ loud noise.

The location is directly across the street from what I believe are some of the best dining places in south florida. And the distance across the sand from the hotel is short. Some places are set back from the water and you have to walk 200 yards across sand to set up. Great location!!
