« What an absolutely gorgeous house, the house is actually better in person than the pictures show. Check in was simple with a handy located key box and lots of parking. It was pretty nippy outside and the house was already heated and nice and toasty on arrival, along with the hot tub. « has everything you need for a short stay. Bedrooms and bathrooms are quite tiny and wardrobe space is limited. No problem if you are out and about most of the time but staying in might be a bit crammed. There is a small outdoor area to sit in - if you like talking to the neighbours as all chalets are close together. »

« I will never stay at a one of these properties again. The room was fine but the staff at reception was rude and unhelpful. It was booked prepaid with Hotels.com to which they said it was not prepaid even after showing the receipt to her. We chose to have diner there as we were tired. At least 1/3 of the tables were covered in dirty dishes. We eventually were able to flag a server down to give our order for food and drinks. Food arrived which was actually well done but never got our drinks even...

« Property was quite dirty. I had to was all of the cutlery. There were grease smears on the cooker hob. The oven trays and grill were filthy. Did not use because of this. I did not receive the wifi information until 5 days into my stay. This was after leaving messages on owners voicemail. They never got back to me at all. Had to go through a customer complaints procedure with Sykes cottages to get the wifi details. No apology, just an email with a picture of the router (which wasn’t in the flat)....
