Burton Agnes Manor House is a free to enter site, maintained by English Heritage. Its construction dates back to Norman times. It's located in the grounds of Burton Agnes Hall, which is privately owned, and can be viewed at a price of ÂŁ10.50. I haven't been in the hall but it certainly looks the part from outside.

the room was dated but clean, hairdryer in there too, there were some suspicious looking marks on the main mattress that the sheet didn’t cover, all staff were lovely x

Exceptionally well decorated and beautiful home to explore the local area. Very welcoming on reception and everything you could need. Only minor gripe was the upstairs shower that was either boiling hot or freezing cold with no in between but sort that and this place is perfect.

Lovely, clean apartment. Excellent and prompt communication via telephone. Spacious and modern. Only downside was parking, there are 11 spots for 20 units, not advertised on expedia. You didn't find out til after pre check-in which caused some headache. But when we got there, parking lot was empty ...
