Hôtel accueillant
Chambre très propre, salle de bain très fonctionnelle. Le personnel est très sympathique. Cet hôtel est idéalement placé à côté des ministères. C'est ma troisième expérience avec l'Ibis de Malabo ; C'est un hôtel pratique à recommander.

Total Disaster
I arrived at the hotel to find that they had no trace of my booking at all. They saud that they had been full for the last week. They said that the problem lay with hotels.com. I contacted Hotels.Com in Switzerland and received no help, In the end I found somewhere else to stay at great expense. I was told that hotels.com would follow up with me and I have heard nothing. I require an explanation, an apology and a complete refund.

O quarto fedia cachorro molhado, janela não abria, a internet era terrível, impossível de fazer chamada, mesmo sem vídeo. Não quiseram trocar dólar pra mim na recepção, mas quando era pra dar troco no restaurante tinham disponível. O café da manhã não era ruim.

The hotel was exceptionally clean. We enjoyed the staff as they we friendly and helpful. Our only issue was that they did not have airport pick-up since the driver was on vacation.

First class facilities but not a lot of stores or restaurants in the general vicinity. Of course there is a restaurant in the hotel and the breakfast options are excellent. The cost of taxis to / from the airport should be about 3,000 CFA.

Smelly rooms and poor internet
Most of the rooms were smelly inside, I assume due to lack of proper ventilation. The internet was extremely slow.

Staff not very friendly (one or two exceptions), meals not as per Ibis brochure, charges for everything (drinking water!), poor wifi, etc., etc.

Short business trip only
AC in the room does not go below 22deg. AC in the dinning room didn't work so you had to sweat while eating. The only place to get wifi is down in the lobby area.

Take a drive arournd if you have the opportunity
Forget the WIFI, some times works in the lobby area, in your room stand by the door to get perhaps one bar. Be very careful of sitting out on the terrace at dusk for mosquitoes and the island is prone to cerebral malaria which is one of the worst strains. Only 1 English channel on TV (CNN) so bring plenty of downloaded stuff because you won't be able to download once there.

We are sorry that your stay in our hotel did not live up to your expectations. But this does not come only from us because, with regard to the wifi; currently the country meets disturbances during the internet connection that comes from the general server. For mosquitos on the terrace, every Tuesday we carry out a general fumigation on the external parts of the hotel. Very helpful staff in a nice hotel in Malabo! Free shuttle was great. Internet could be better but rooms are very comfortable.

Beautiful Stay
I had really enjoyed staying at the Ibis Hotel. The staff is very nice and keep the hotel real clean. Mr Jose did a good JOB at the front desk, and he made my stay very comfortable and relaxing. I will always stay at the Ibis hotel whenever I come to Malabo, EG. Good Job Hotel Ibis.

Fewer of the staff speak English than ny hotel I've visited. It is located in the middle of nowhere, too far to walk to town. The pool is large, but the tiles need repair. The breakfasts are excellent.The computer was out of order four timeswin two days for long times.

un dia en Malabo
El hotel está situado a mitad de camino entre el aeropuerto y la ciudad, está en la parte nueva de Malabo. Rodeado de edificios del estado, todos nuevos., una pega em recepción les pedí que me guardaran una medicina em el frigorífico me contestaron que no tenían? De donde sacaban las bebidas frías?

Buena relación calidad precio en Malabo
Bien situado en Malabo 2, a diez minutos del aeropuerto y con excelente atención por parte del personal. Por otra parte es un ibis, exactamente igual en su interior a cualquier ibis de otro rincón del mundo.

Good but a little more careful attention is
Generally It was good. But in terms of some details, just a little more careful attention is necessary. For example, bathroom door creaked but housemaid seemed unconcerned about that. Some staff on the reception desk did not say just hello or greetings(Spanish), even if I could not understand Spanish at all.
