My kids and I have stayed here many times. The pool is fantastic. The staff are so helpfull and friendly. The breakfast is legendary with lots of variation. One of our favourite weekend breaks. 👍

Stayed over as part of a group on route to the ferry. Convenient location. Eating on site with a bar. 2 good local pubs / restaurants within walking distance. Clean and parking good. We were on motorbikes so initially concerned about parking. However all ok.

I'm sorry you've found our drinks expensive, we can assure you that our prices are comparable with other hotels in the area. Regarding the car parking charges, it is to stop people, who are not staying at the hotel, from using our parking for when they visit the town. The 5 per night is a nominal fee for hotel guests in line with other hotels in the area. Very clean and spacious room, comfy beds, bathroom could do with a revamp. Easy access and lots of spaces in the car park. Checked in at 10pm and checked out at 6am, easy and smooth

The receptionists were very helpful and the process was swift. Our room was spacious and having a door out to an open space was ideal as we had our Guide Dog with us. We were so lucky to see a Guide dog that was training with his partner, as our dog was going into training.

What a lovely experience. Booked for 1 night as a birthday treat and I want to go back. Clean, comfortabke beds, use of the gym, pool, sauna and steam room. Breakfast was clean, not oily and a good variety of food. Staff where pleasant. Overall good price for what we got.

Staff are great, Elaine at breakfast is a gem, always friendly and helpful. Great job bringing the pancake machine back. Fantastic job introducing the fresh honey. Spa pool area is awful, very dirty and needing a deep clean and refreshing. Rooms need refreshing, new flooring and beds the matress toppers dont work.

The twin room was excellent, 2 full size beds, very spacious. However there were 2 negatives. Firstly, no working lift to upper floor. Also, the food took absolutely ages to arrive at dinner. When I questioned why this was, the response I got was off-hand, very much "well that's how long it takes to cook" no apology. We were tired and wanted to eat quickly, if some items on the menu take a long time to prepare and serve (over 40 mins), then this should be made clear on the menu, and the attitude of the restaurant staff needs much improvement.

Property let us down as food delivered cold as they had wedding on, extreme long wait for service all starters cold and child’s crispy as sat under heat lamp to long. They did correct issue but several customers same concern

It wasn’t bad, I’d say the hotel was 3 stars not 4. Rooms are dated and the gym was too small for how big the hotel was.

Not enough staff for a huge hotel
We stayed at the Orida when we attended a wedding local to the hotel, a lovely soacious hotel but not enough staff, empty glasses everywhere I wiped tables etc.

The entrance to this hotel is lovely, the foyer and reception area. However the rooms and especially the bathroom had a dirty feel to it. No amount of cleaning can make up for it. The size of the room was great. Breakfast time was manic, the restaurant area is small, not to mention the health and safety aspect of it. We were seated close to the coffee machine/orange juice machine. An elderly gentleman tipped his tea over my son due to table being to close to the breakfast area.
