We stayed in a smaller room without a water view but a great spot to stay. The attached restaurant had a great view we had a decent meal. Would definitely recommend. Nancyâs bakery is right across the road with some pretty awesome treats! Overall, super glad we booked a night in Lund!!
Check in was quick and easy. The room was average of an older building. Door was a bit harder to open. The shower curtain was dirty and an old facecloth was found. But the rest of room was clean and good.
The floor drops down several inches without warning when entering room. Building inspector missed that! The designated parking behind the place is a dirt lot with a steep climb, no stairs, to get to room. Shower curtain was several inches above the splash guard allowing the water to run onto the floor. Was weird! The air conditioner kept changing its flow, clanging very loud throughout the night making sleep impossible. Overpriced for what one got. The reception is a phone number, no one at the desk. Restaurant and lounge is closed because of lack of staff.
The location of this property was great with views of the marina. Unfortunately, the restaurant and bar was closed the evening of my stay due to short staffing. Fortunately, staff recommended a very good restaurant within walking distance.
The restaurant/pub wasnât open due to staffing shortage so we had to drive back to Powell River for dinner. The walls are thin and you can hear the neighbours. Clean room and bed was comfortable. Ocean is beautiful.
The place is quite tired and basic. Bed was comfortable. There was no fitted sheet on the bed. Tub needed a good scrub to remove the overall blue stain. Doors are not well sealed so light streams in around the door frames at night. The room was ok, but extremely basic. Expected more for the price charged.
Lund is isolated and we travelled midweek, so staffing was sporadic. However, you could always get in touch with someone. People very very friendly and really wanted us to enjoy our stay. Room was clean and comfy.
Pub and restaurant were open Thursday through Sunday. There is a small store with food and a customer microwave. Lots of sail and motor water craft dock, shower, stock up, etc. Glad we came. Saw lovely birds and orcas
A historic hotel located in such a beautiful place! Sunsets were gorgeous and could even be viewed from the room. The room was both clean and comfortable, the staff were both friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again.
Laurel was a warm and welcoming hostess. I appreciated the quick check and questions she answered about the property and area. The extra touches to support a welcoming experience made all the difference for a 5 star review.
A comfy and quiet spot at the end of highway 101. We enjoyed our ocean front room with balcony, it was super quiet as there are no rooms above. Parking around back for guests with shops adjacent. Lovely bar and restaurant featuring local cuisine. Would happily stay again.

My father and myself came up the coast on a whim just to experience the area while Iâm visiting and booked a room at the Lund Resort at Klah ah men literally an hour before we arrived. The resort is right on the water with an amazing view, the staff member we met/checked in with was wonderful (thank you!), and the rooms are spacious with comfortable hues - the electric fireplace is a really nice mood and I really loved the beautiful Indigenous art throughout including on the bed which was extremely comfortable. Spontaneous decisions donât always work out but this one absolutely did. Not a single regret choosing to stay here and next time Iâm able to travel this way, Iâll be staying here again. Youâre in the heart of something up here and the quiet is the perfect escape.
Lund is a wonderful little place, and this is the place to stay. It is close to everything in town (walking distance) and there are good hikes, etc. nearby. Very clean, nice staff.
