Front desk staff was helpful, very friendly and answered all of our questions. The room was a 2nd floor and unfortunately we could hear what we thought were painters or workers in the room above us. It went on for a good while, couldn’t figure out if it was the maid cleaning? So taking an afternoon nap was impossible. The room was great, we had a small but long balcony. Was nice to step outside for air. Very convenient to the town and area is great. Loved the library and bar area, library has so many books to read and it’s quiet and peaceful. Great space! Our only complaint was the breakfast. Not great! The tater tots were hard and inedible. The eggs tasted fake and blah. The pancake machine needed a bag replacement and trying to get the guy standing there talking to himself or on the phone, not sure which, felt like we were bothering him. The main lady, not who seemed to be the manager, the worker lady, wore one glove and kept it on the whole time. When she fixed the tongs, refilled the milks, when she snuck and ate food by popping it in her mouth on the sly, and after she cleaned. Never saw her change the glove, once! When manger lady came in, she was on it, and the two workers were on best behavior! Yogurts, granola, cereals, all prepackage stuff was great, prepared foods, not recommended. Even the pancakes were not very tasty. Overall, our stay was great. They had music on Saturday night and the pizza place had great pizza! This and front desk staff is why we’ll be back.
