Do not stay in room number one one two seven. There was a random door from the bathroom going, well, who knows where.
It looks like a cupboard door but when I arrived there were people on the other side of the door and music was playing. I complained to staff and was told there wasnât a door from my bathroom. I showed the staff member a picture. They then agreed that there was indeed a door and conceded that it went to advertising space and no one was there. Which wasnât true. I filmed it! Through the keyhole.
As a solo female traveller it was unnerving and I slept with the bathroom door locked - because you can lock the bathroom door from the bedroom side. And with my case pushed up against it.
Even more curious, the evening porter told me lots of people have complained about this room and the Narnia door, so itâs odd they denied it even existed.
I shared all my pictures with the hotel but they never replied and charged me an additional ÂŁ30 for the room without explanation. I am waiting to hear back from them on that one tooâŠ
Great place if you're going to be out all day and just want a bed and bathroom in a central area. The tube station is directly opposite so it's very central and well connected.
Definitely make sure what you're booking meets your needs. But it's very clean and quiet and the beds are very comfortable.
Inadequate and disappointing. More like a camping bed than a comfortable sleeping room. Waste of money. Bad joke of a property. No thank you weâre so full. It was so good. We ate it all drink.
The location was great. If you're traveling on holiday or need to work in the area, you can't beat the location. Very close to Knightsbridge underground and easy to walk to Hyde Park and all the spots you want to see. I was there for work.
The room was/is SMALL! But, that's the point. There is no TV or radio and any other distraction. It really is just for sleeping, and that was comfortable.
The only criticism I would offer is the lack of storage, shelving or hooks. I had 2 in the entry & 2 in the bathroom. Yet, plenty of empty wall space. I understand the minimalist aesthetic but some sleek black, or white shelves to put key, water bottle, loose items etc. would be helpful to keep the place tidy while staying. Extra hooks would also be appreciated.
I probably didnât read the write up properly, but the hotel only has double beds, and each side of the double bed touches the wall. It is literally a bed and a bathroom. Great for couples, and all you want to do is sleep there and have very little luggage. Great location.
lovely stay here, even though we were only here for one night. The windowless room and soundproofing really make you feel like youre in a super cosy private space, right in the middle of such a busy area. It was perfect for us.
Amazing location and perfect for our four night stay, just a little on the small side. Couldnât have stayed any longer in the small space but honestly perfect for us as we were out at 730am and not back in until after 1030pm. So close to the tube and buses so perfect for getting around
The cocoon concept was like being in a jail cell. Lights only work when motion is detected. No space for two adults with two small suitcases. Room was dirty. Sink was about 12 x 6 inches wide. The concept is ok, but a windowless room inspires claustrophobia.
A stones throw from the underground. Hotel was very quiet. Room was tiny but perfect for what we needed,,somewhere to sleep and shower. Room was more like a pod. The sink in the bathroom is really small so water would go everywhere when washing your face. Powerful shower. Comfy bed. Silent at night, so got a good sleep. Not a lot of room to get ready if there's 2 of you trying to get ready at the same time.
This was a new experience for me. It was simple but all you need in a room. It was a bit tight but the bed felt so clean and the mattress was super comfy. I appreciated how they blacked out the window as it made sleeping much easier but at times it did make us feel like we were in a dungeon.
This was the perfect place to stay for one quick night before my flight out of Heathrow the next day. I arrived at St Pancras station and took the train to the hotel. I specifically looked for a place on the Piccadilly line to Heathrow, and this was just steps away from the station. Not far to drag my luggage.
Very close to beautiful Hyde Park, many shops and restaurants in the area.
Very neat, well appointed place and absolutely quiet since there are NO windows! I had room 102 and I didnât hear a sound all night!
Really appreciated the USBC outlets.
Would stay here again for 1, maybe two nights.
The room is super tiny but super clean and provided all I needed for my solo trip, great location, easy access to busses and subways. Naveen who helped me to check in and check out was super nice, also helped me figured out the better solution to get to airport when the subway was closed that day.... very helpful !
We booked this property as it we liked the idea of the soundproofed rooms because it was in a busy area and no window so you could control your own lighting and get a good nights sleep.
What we got was a room with a boarded up window and the light from the window was still able to get along the top edge of where it was covered up. The room was not soundproof as we could clearly hear the traffic from the road outside.
The room was clean and tidy, bed was comfortable and the staff were frendly, but let dow by the false claims of no window and soundproof rooms, when actually being a hidden window in the room and the noise from outside.
A great place to stay in the heart of London if you just want a bed for the night. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. There is no furniture and the rooms are very compact but perfect if all you want is a good nights sleep.
