J’ai payé mon séjour avec Paypal et l’hôtel a voulu me faire payer 2 fois . Expédia les a appelé 2 fois pour prouver mon paiement. En arrivant à la réception , ils ont dit encore que je n’avais pas payé! C’est Alexandra qui a géré le problème avec Expédia et à fini par dire que j’avais bien payé avec Paypal!

Un hôtel magnifique, une chambre très agréable et spacieuse, un lit incroyablement grand... bref la chambre était parfaite. Nous avons été un peu déçu qu’il n’y ait pas le coffre ou le fer à repasser comme indiqué dans l’offre. En fait, nous les avons trouvés le dernier jour en partant.. ils se cachent derrière une paroi insoupçonnée (ou peut-être qu’on est un peu nul aussi). Il manquait 2-3 degrés à l’eau de la piscine à notre goût. Un accueil très chaleureux tant à la réception qu’au bar. Nous avons été ravis.

cet hotel est très bien situé pres de la Tate modern dans le quartier de Southwark très bon accueil chambre propre et spacieuse très bien équipée il manque un coffre safe normalement compris dans ce type d'hotel 5 étoiles! Parfait! staff incroyable, chambre tres confortable, salle de bain géniale, petit dejeuner excellent, tres bien situé proche station metro. je recommande sans hésitation! Seul petit point "négatif" : Pas d'application Netflix sur la TV...et les films sont payants...vu la qualité de l'hotel et le prix de la nuit je trouve ceci assez étrange...

Très bien mais petits soucis techniques à revoir
Hôtel très agréable. Dommage que des problèmes techniques soient présents (une lampe de chevet qui ne fonctionne pas (ça peut arriver ce n’est pas grave) et la climatisation qui fait des siennes (avec la même consigne, une nuit ou on eu froid et une nuit avec une chaleur insupportable, sans parler du bruit qu’elle faisait). Le restaurant était excellent.

Great location, convenient for exploring Southwark with lots to see and do. Staff were incredibly friendly and courteous at all times. Room was reasonably large for a London hotel and the beds were very comfortable.

Great hotel, lovely staff and a nice vibe about the place. Lovely rooms as well. The local area is really nice as well, lots of good bars and restaurant in a close proximity, more a local London vide than tourist. This hotel is now our regular spot for our annual visits to London, .

The hotel is 5 minutes walk to Southwalk Train Station. Public transportation in London is fantastic and you can go anywhere with your credit card (no need to buy ticket). Staff is friendly and nice; room is clean and the area is very quiet. Great hotel!

Arrived early and (thankfully) was able to check-in early (check-out was equally painless). Hotel is within a 5-10 minute walk of two subway stations, the Thames, the Tate, Globe Theatre, Borough Market. The breakfast buffet is worth getting. The staff was friendly and accommodating at every turn (asked for an extra pillow and they brought it up right away). Enjoyed hitting the pool. If you are thinking of staying in London, this is the place. You can thank me later.

Mitchell greeted us wonderfully outside the hotel on our arrival and made a lovely effort with my young daughter (& the urban fox hunt). Glass of bubbles at check in, all smooth. Room was clean and spacious, cute fox decor and attention to child guest needs. Indoor pool was nice (until disrupted by some over excited/splashy teens from Manchester) robes and towels provided. Room service food menu out of date/wasn't updated on the TV menu and was very limited/over priced hut good service. Nice selection at breakfast, even though was rushed as we went at 10.45 and ends at 11. Very easy walking distance to Tate Modern, Globe and Borough. Nice location.

We had an excellent stay at this Hotel. From the minute we arrived to leaving, the service was first class. The staff were so friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. The rooms were modern, spotless and spacious and the shower was amazing! The bar and restaurant were lovely too. I also really enjoyed staying in this area of London. There were nice cafes, bars and restaurants in the area and a few supermarkets within a few minutes walk. Close to the Tate Modern and only a 10 minute walk to Borough Market. We were also able to walk to Covent Garden area for our night at the theatre. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Hilton Bankside was an excellent choice for our stay in London. The staff is very welcoming and accommodating. Hotel itself is clean, rooms are nice and of good standard. I travelled with my 6 year old daughter, and she was pleasantly surprised with a kids kit consisting of an activity book, a blanket& pillow, bathrobe with slippers and sweets. Marcel helped us with a kids treasury hunt, which was a fun experience for my daughter. We also tried the gym and the pool. Gym was excellent, well equipped. Pool was good, a bit cold and also had dust on the water which was the only negative I could point out about our stay. The location is good, I had read that the area wasn't that safe, but we didn't experience anything during our stay. Around 5 minutes walk to the tube (Jubilee line), and buses also available. Recommended!
