Great place for a business short trip / couples holiday
The apartment is ideally located, 100m from Covent Garden Market and close to a bunch of restaurants (of any kind), pubs and shops (from market stalls to high-end fashion brands). The amenities are really complete (there even is a dishwasher and a washing machine) and allow for a very comfortable stay (special mention for the walk-in shower, which I found really nice and powerful enough). Nothing is without fault of course. Two points to notice (which prevent the 5 stars): 1) The surroundings can get noisy at night due to the proximity with two big pubs and all the opportunities for nightlife around, and trash trucks can disturb your sleep early in the morning. 2) Though having an actual oven is nice, I personally would have preferred a microwave as such an apartment is not really a place for dining-in. All in all, a place I definitely recommend and that I'll try to book again should I need to come back to London in the coming years.

Fantastic location. Very clear and concise check-in instructions. Spotlessly clean. Very helpful team - especially when I was being stupid and inputting the wrong entry code when I arrived. Some of the Ercol furniture in the living room a bit tired to be honest - one of the dining room chairs creaked mightily when I sat on it (looked like it had been mended at some point). Only 1 reading light in the double bedroom (but I’m sure the host would have sorted this if it had been causing me any real inconvenience). This has been mentioned before but the windows really need a good clean. Yes, the flat can be a bit noisy - but hey that’s city living - just go with it and join the throng! Overall very happy and would stay there again.

Great apartment and location
We’re not super experienced with London, but I thought this was a great location. We loved Covent garden. The apartment is over an alley, so you don’t have tons of traffic and noise during the evening, and yet you are very close to a lot of very active restaurants and bars. Also very close to all the shows. We walked to Les Miserables, and it was awesome. The apartment owners are extremely responsive, I emailed them several times, and they responded almost immediately. The apartment itself was exactly as advertised. Very clean, nice kitchen, small but functional bedroom, nice family room. Also very close to a metro line. We would come back here in a heartbeat.

Good points: Very central, quiet at night once stores close. We had a couple issues that needed repair and the mgmt was right on it. Not so good point: The main windows in unit were so dirty that you could hardly see out. The bedroom window had a thin cover, understand that we are in a street with really great shops, but the shop across the street put all night strobe lights in shop window and it was sort of a all night light explosion, not just light, but strobe lighting. The bed was not like a mattress, it was hard and dipped into the middle. The stairwell, which is first thing you see, was horribly dirty and not well kept, old mattress laying in hallway. The apartment upstairs was very very loud, not the owners fault but difficult to relax. We left three days early.

Covent Garden Gem!
This cozy apartment is steps from a tube station and dozens of great restaurants and pubs. The apartment has everything you need, with excellent quality bedding, towels and furnishings. The management was a dream to work with! The check in/out process was easy and they were responsive to my queries. This will be my new London apartment on future visits!

Absolutely the Best
If you are looking for the best location for a London rental you can now stop looking. You have found it. This is the second time we have stayed here but hopefully not the last time. It’s a two minute walk to the tube station, a 10 minute walk to The National Gallery. Restaurants, check. Shopping, check. Theatre, check. Checking in is a breeze. Just one flight of stairs to negotiate. The property management team is first rate. Super clean apartment. We can’t wait to return.

Thanks Ajay! Just to note to future guests that this is a mostly pedestrian street (Floral St) and the windows have double and secondary glazing to insulate any noise.

Great flat in a wonderful location
The apartment is a lovely oasis to come to in the busy and exciting city of London. It is up one flight of stairs and overlooks a paved, mostly pedestrian street very near Covent Garden underground station , theatres, the opera ,shops , pubs and restaurants. The street outside becomes quieter in the evenings and we never found noise a problem. Hope to stay again

Covent Garden is around the corner and Soho, Leceister Sq, picadilly circus, just a 10 min walk. Apartment is brand new, meticulously clean, quiet. Management responds to inquiries within a few minutes. Will definitely stay here again.

Great central apartment. Handy having washer/dryer. Lots of pubs and restaurants in area. Tube super convenient. Kitchen could use a few more things like a cork screw/bottle opener/can opener.

We simply loved our stay. Terrific location. Overlooking the street. All the amenities as advertised. We had a little bit of a panic trying to figure out how to operate the electronic door lock - turn to the right - but once we did everything was great.

Modern Flat in a Great Location
Well appointed modern flat in a great location. Easy to walk to many London landmarks, theatres, great shopping in Covent Garden. Underground station less than a 2 minute walk away (Piccadilly Line which provides a direct trip to Heathrow in just under an hour). Grocery store (Tesco Metro) just around the corner and lots of pubs nearby for a quick pint. While noisy during the day, the street quiets down in the evening making it ideal for sleep. Easy check-in and check-out with good communication. Would definitely recommend for a solo traveler or couple.

Just a quick note to future guests - the apartment has secondary glazing (two windows) to insulate it from noise and is located on a much quieter than average street for the area, many guests comment on how quiet it is for somewhere so central in a city.

Superb location!
Superb location, very neat, clean and modern. Everything was walking distance including some very nice bars and restaurants. Right in the heart of Covent Garden and a minute away from the tube station. A small flight of stairs - did'nt bother us much - but with elders who have heavy luggage - please keep this in mind. Maybe a some closet space will be great. We had a very pleasant stay and will definitely rent this apartment again.

Everything we needed for exploring central London and beyond. Space is very comfortable, well appointed and updated. Apartment is near the bustling Covent Garden square with shopping, restaurants and street performers, but tucked into a quieter side street; a separation we appreciated. We preferred walking to all the surrounding neighborhoods, but the close proximity to subway/tube/train is a plus. Highly recommend the apartment, hard to imagine a better launching pad for enjoying everything London has to offer. Also a shout out to 26 Grains for breakfast in Neal's Yard, Mildred's for lunch/dinner in Soho and Dishoom in Carnaby for some amazing Indian food - yes, we like food.

A perfect place to stay in London!
We absolutely loved our stay here. The location was perfect - just around the corner from the Tube and right smack in the middle of Covent Garden with shops, restaurants, market and pubs right outside our door! Close walk to Leicester Square and easy walks to various theaters for great shows they have in London. The flat was just as promised and pictured. All of the kitchen appliances (including a great little washer dryer) and bathroom were recently updated and in great condition. Furniture was modern, the Wi-Fi and TV worked well. Upon arrival we had easy instructions for getting in and found the flat clean and neat. We also felt very safe here - we called it our "Safe House". Be aware that it is a little noisy (you are in the heart of Covent Garden), and there is a steep narrow climb up one flight of stairs which may present a problem for some, but not for us. My wife says when we come back to London she wants to stay here again!!! Thanks for the great stay............

Everything you need in a great location!
My husband and I started our European vacation with a 3-day stay in Alex's London flat. I agree with all of the other positive reviews, but below are my personal highlights: - Alex: Although we never met, he was prompt in communications, providing recommendations and returning our security deposit. - Location: Two-minute walk from the tube station. Several restaurants, pubs, and shops nearby. Felt safe and secure. As others have noted this is a lively neighborhood you will most likely have some street noise, especially over the weekend. But nothing we couldn't sleep through :) - The bed/mattress: although not a King, it was very comfortable along with the bedding. - Overall apartment: Clean, bright and minimal design. We never cooked but kitchen had everything we needed for the stay. And bonus points for providing a hair dryer and small fan. I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking to stay in London!

Location, location, location
Fabulous unit for 2. You could not get a better location - right in the cente of Covent Garden and a 2 minute walk from the tube. Easy to find even at night after a long and tiring flight. Alex was BRILLIANT to deal with, very responsive and made everything so easy. The unit is modern and bright with everything you could need. Close to great eating places or buy groceries at M&S which is very close. Do not go past this unit! I will definitely stay here on my next visit.

In so many ways, the perfect London Pied-a-Terre
I would definitely stay here again, and would have given it a full 5 stars if it weren't for the noisy neighbours stying in the flat above me for 2 nights. Being a fan of the Covent Garden location for convenience, I was drawn to this place by the other reviews. I was pleasantly impressed with this accommodation, and Alex, the host, was very communicative and attentive. The kitchen was well-equipped, contemporary and terrific, the living area was bright, and large, and the bedroom was sufficient. The areas that one spends the most time are most important, and they profit from large windows and good lighting. My niggly criticisms... - In the beautiful bathroom, there is space for a larger sink, or wall-hung vanity, and I'd encourage this minor retrofit, as I had to leave my toiletry bag in the kitchen (not a huge deal, as it was just 2 steps away). - A small microwave oven could be useful. - TV could be a tad larger, though I only had it on to catch some of the Winter Olympics, and was mostly out. The Covent Garden Tube station is literally 1 minute away on foot! And, for me, that was great, as I could escape the throngs of tourists and run off to other parts of the city in minutes. For food, the Marks & Sparks food hall on Long Acre, and Tesco Market are super-close; another great convenience. I hesitate to give this too good a review, because then everyone will book it, and it'll be harder for me to find it available next time. I looked at a lot of other places, and have stayed elsewhere before this. I was very happy, despite the small notes above, which I leave as suggestions to Alex, to make it even more exceptional. Highly recommended.

Great value for the money in Covent Garden less than 3 minutes from tube and Marks & Spencer food
I agree with all the positives that others have written about, especially all references to the attention Alex pays to his guests. I only met Alex through email and text but his colleague, Dom, was readily available when we noticed a small leak under bathroom sink on day 1. By the end of day 2, Dom had a plumber fix the small problem while we were out on the town. Very impressed. We enjoyed the minimalist decor which turned out to be more comfortable than I'd anticipated. Loved the modern clean kitchen and having a nespresso machine with coffee pods supplied was a welcome bonus. The bed and bedroom might feel narrow or cramped for some with mobility issues or those used to an American Q or K size but it worked for us especially with the small wall-hung side tables that you see in the photos. We were there for a week and I appreciated the rack for hanging clothes. In fact, I thought it an ingenious use of space. Washer/dryer was a high quality machine that could even handle the generously thick towels provided. Thanks to one reviewer's comments about more shelf space in the bathroom, I took a few over-the-door hooks and hanging toiletries bags that solved that issue. I found that the shower was comfortable designed for holding toiletries and the water pressure more than adequate. I can't speak for what the apartment would be like in warm weather but in mid-December it was perfectly comfortable especially with the bathroom towel-warmer. As someone mentioned, the carpeted stairs from the front door to the apartment are steep but have a strong railing so we (69, 70) managed 2 pieces of rolling luggage safely. If you couldn't lift your own bag or have other mobility issues, then daily stair use might be a challenge. Finally, we felt safe in the area. The stores at ground level are open during the day and an electronic lock at street level gives one quick access to the building. We left thinking we would definitely stay in this apartment again. And, the next day, I noted that our security deposit had been credited to our card. The whole experience felt like a successful transaction. Bravo Alex and Dom.

Remarkably well located Covent Garden flat
First floor walkup flat right around the corner from Covent Garden Tube stop, and right around the corner from Covent Garden itself. Despite its central location, it is above a relatively small road/lane and, at night, the apartment itself is quiet. The flat was quite functional, with a full/queen futon style bed, full kitchen (and grocery a short walk away), and living room. Conveniently, electric devices, including hair dryer, iron, and fan, were provided, as was WiFi. Alex was very responsive.

Perfect Apartment in Perfect Location!
