Un magnifique appartement Hyde Park de 2 chambres doubles, extrĂȘmement bien situĂ© au cƓur de Bayswater, un quartier recherchĂ© Ă  proximitĂ© de Kensington Gardens, Notting Hill et Hyde Park. Les tubes, bus et trains Heathrow express (Paddington), Bayswater et Lancaster Gate sont tous Ă  5 minutes Ă  pied. Bond St, Portobello Rd et la cĂ©lĂšbre Notting Hill sont Ă  proximitĂ© pour explorer et le musĂ©e V&A et d'histoire naturelle sont Ă  une courte promenade Ă  travers le parc. SituĂ© dans un endroit trĂšs central plein de caractĂšre; il y a beaucoup de merveilleux restaurants, bars, cafĂ©s et magasins Ă  quelques minutes Ă  pied.

Tout Ă©tait parfait dans l’appartement mĂȘme si les lits sont un peu petit. Quartier Ă  la fois vivant et calme et proche des transports et de Hyde Park. HĂŽte trĂšs conciliante.

Les +: bien localise pres Hyde Park et Paddington station, accueil chaleureux et grande disponibilite de la proprietaire. L'appartement lui- meme etait propre et bien equipe. Les -: L'entrée de l'immeuble a vraiment besoin d'entretien. Le tapis de l'escalier ne semble pas avoir ete nettoye depuis plusieurs annees. 4e etage sans accenseur, penible quand beaucoup de bagages. Pas vraiment approprie pour 4 personnes: seulement deux chaises a la table a diner et le lit de de la plus petite chambre ne peut pas accommoder deux adultes.

highly recommended apartment for 3 or 4 persons

We stayed for 3 days in Francesca's apartment in London with my wife and daughter. The apartment is even better than what the photos show on the site. Lots of light and space, a nice decoration and plenty of art books. The flat is very well located, in a nice residential area and Francesca has been most helpful and accommodating to make our stay truly memorable. We will for sure return to this flat for our next visit in London.

Charming and quirky flat

When I visit London, I always stay in this neighborhood. Quiet, charming, easy access to busses and tubes, and near grocery store (Waitrose is the bomb) and plenty of restaurants. Every place has been charming and a bit quirky. This is how it is in London. If you seek all the comforts of home, stay home. But I will give you my honest observations. Pros: Big stunning windows and lots of light, nice view of trees, big bright living room, old building with plenty of character, gorgeous claw-foot tub, no shortage of hot water, adequate water pressure, plenty of TP, shampoo, tea, spices, oils, etc., fun artwork, good WiFi, personal greeting by host, starter carton of milk (nice touch), fresh flowers (really nice touch), comfy mattresses and bed linens, and of course location. Cons (for those who might be picky about such things): bathtub/shower can be tricky to get in/out if you are short/old/unsteady, so many stairs to get to flat (this is typical in London), some spaces filled with owner's stuff are a bit dusty, towels are crispy (just at first- you'll be OK - they soften up with use, this is common for line-dried towels, no clothes dryer- this is common in London), small beds (also common in London - you sure you want to visit London?), creaky distressed floors (did I mention the building was old and charming?), fridge is small and wobbly, and kitchen cabinetry could use some TLC. Would absolutely stay here again as the above "cons" do not concern me.

Overnight stay in London

We stayed here two nights on our way to and from Paris. A very nice flat in a nice location. Many cafes, restaurants and the underground near by. Our host was terrific, checked us in easily and the flat had everything we needed.

Incredible Location

This is a very cute flat that worked well for a stay in London. It's located to close to train stations, groceries, and restaurants. We were about a 10-15 minute walk to Paddington station which made travel to our events and to the airport incredibly easy. Our host was lovely and made sure we got checked in and settled. Also, beautiful art work in the home to enjoy! Highly recommend.

Lovely London flat

The space was lovely - bright, airy with great sunlight and plenty of room. We slept like babies on the comfy beds after walking all over London. Our host provided all the finishing touches, including fresh flowers, everything needed for coffee/tea, and local recommendations. Fabulous location just north of Hyde Park.

The stay was adequate for our needs but not at all suitable for four adults. The sleeping arrangements were particularly disappointing. There was only one bed that could comfortably fit two people, but it’s really only appropriate for a couple, not two friends. The other sleeping options included a single twin bed and a small, makeshift mattress placed at the foot of the double bed. This setup was far from ideal and made the space feel cramped and unreasonable for four adults. The living room wasn’t much better, as the couches felt a bit dirty and worn, making it hard to relax. The overall cleanliness was below expectations, and while the kitchen was functional, it was nothing special. Additionally, the place felt quite overpriced for its value. It’s a walk-up on the third floor, which could be a hassle if you have a lot of luggage. The floors were loud and creaky, making it difficult to sleep if you're a light sleeper. Overall, it served its purpose, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a group of four adults or anyone seeking a comfortable and quiet stay.

Look no further for a perfect place in London

Francesca is an exceptional host. The place was perfectly located, gorgeous, and her communication impeccable. We had less than a 5 minute walk to the tube, Kensington Gardens just a short walk away, and she gave excellent recommendations. Book this place and have peace of mind.

Great location

We have been to London on several occasions and this is our favorite area to stay in and our first time at this apartment. Check-in and check-out could not have been easier. The owner was quick to respond to questions. It was comfortable enough for the 3 of us but with a 4th adult I think it would be a bit tight. As indicated in other reviews, it is within walking distance of many stores, restaurants, Underground stations and things to see and do which makes the location wonderful. Our favorite restaurant is Ceru on Queensway right near the Queensway Station. We love walking in and through Kensington Gardens and the surrounding parks. The Albert Memorial is incredible. I was glad to read in another review that you can take the Elizabeth line to/from Heathrow Airport. I generally use Apple Maps and it did not show me this. I have since found that Google Maps does show it. It's a great in-between option. It's a lot less money than the Heathrow Express and doesn't take much longer. It's also almost twice as fast as taking the other Underground line that makes many stops. Some suggestions for things to see and do, especially if you like history, is The Temple Church (knights Templar) near Fleet Street, St. Bartholomew, Gordon's Wine Bar, plays and have a proper British afternoon tea. Also, visit Greenwich one day, especially the Market, Maritime Museum, Painted Hall and the Observatory.

Nice stay in a great neighborhood

The property is clean and comfortable for our family of four. The kitchen has everything we needed. We were very glad to have a clothes washer and drying rack. The only down side is that there are a lot of stairs to the flat, but you get used to it. The neighborhood is quiet but near great amenities on Queensway and convenient to several Tube lines.

This 4th floor property was lovely and the location was great. Loved having coffee in the morning in front of the big windows looking out on Leinster Garden Road. Francesca was a perfect host and communication ideas great. The apartment is perfect for a single couple or family but the second bedroom is pretty small for a second adult couple but we were able to make it work for the two nights we were there. Overall great experience.

Perfect flat to explore all of London!

This flat is the ideal home away from to visit and explore the best of London. We could not be more pleased with the flat, the location, and our interactions with Vanessa. The apartment is close to two tube stops (Bayswater, Queensway) and just five minutes to Paddington Station. The Waitrose grocery store also 5-8 minutes away: Waitrose reminded us of the QFC stores that we have in the Pacific Northwest. We explored the nearby neighborhoods of Bayswater, Notting Hill, and the Portobello Market. Hyde Park and Kensington Palace are a leisurely walk away. You can also walk to the Victoria and Albert Museum (~ 30-minute walk) and enjoy the beauty of the park while heading over to the museum. We took tube/trains to Buckingham Palace, Windsor, Hampton Court, the Tower of London, the Sky Garden café, and the west end for a show. All transit options were convenient and easy to manage. We very much appreciated how easy Vanessa made the check in process. Communication with Vanessa was fantastic throughout the process from signing up for the rental to answering a few last-minute questions before our vacation. Being close to Paddington was convenient after our overnight flight to London: we ended up taking the Elizabeth line to Paddington when we arrived but took the Heathrow Express from Paddington back to Heathrow. The trip to and from Heathrow were quite easy to manage from Paddington. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely Flat in Central London!

Everything about this stay was fantastic! The flat is conveniently located near Hyde Park, Nottinghill and Paddington. Just moments away from Bayswater and Queensway roads, there are two tube stations within a 5 minute walk from the flat, as well as numerous restaurants, shops, a grocery store and fabulous bakery all within easy walking distance. There are a couple of very nice neighborhood pubs as well where you can drop in for a pint or a bite to eat. The check in process couldn't have been easier and Francesca was very accommodating and allowed us to drop off our bags several hours before check in time. The flat is as pictured and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. I was traveling with my husband and our 20 year old daughter and the flat was the perfect size for us. There are several flights of stairs up to the flat so this would not be a good choice for someone with mobility issues. The common area/ staircases leading up to the flat are a little worn and could use some TLC, but the flat itself is lovely and extremely comfortable. If you are an art lover, you will enjoy the many lovely pictures throughout the flat! The area is very safe and we were never concerned even walking back from the tube later in the evening. We would definitely stay here again and this property gets 5 stars for location, appearance, comfort and ease of communication with the owner!

Wonderful Flat and solid location .

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful flat in London through VRBO, and I cannot recommend it enough! From start to finish, the experience was fantastic. The communication with the owner was seamless and they were incredibly helpful in providing all the necessary information and ensuring that our stay was comfortable. The flat itself is simply stunning - immaculate and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities you could possibly need. The location is perfect, right in the heart of London with easy access to all the major attractions and transport links. Despite being in such a central location, the flat is surprisingly quiet and peaceful, with a wonderful view of the city skyline. I particularly loved the attention to detail that the owner had put into making the flat feel like a home away from home - from the great art ( I believe the owner is an artist) to a nespresso machine with pods. Overall, I had a truly wonderful stay at this London flat and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish and comfortable base from which to explore this amazing city.
