« This was a nice place to stay for our family for the price. Lots of little touches for convenience and to make it homey. The mountains are beautiful. The lake is low but on the opposite side there is a place to launch boats. The neighbors are close but we didn’t see or hear anyone. »

« We visited for 4 days and stayed a 5th day so we could get another day of skiing in. We were comfortable, the place was heated, warm, cozy and away from everything which is what we wanted. There’s a store in town (Reeds) where you can grab groceries, Redding is a half hour away, Shasta 1.5 hours. Peace, quiet, Serenity, good for the kids to run around. Plenty of firewood for the old school stove. Beds cozy. Office nearby. Hottub wasn’t overchlorinated which was nice. They should make it lighter...

« More than I ever would have expected. Beautiful setting. Lovely cottage with all the amenities. Walk right out the front door into beautiful wooded areas and nearby stream and waterfall. Folks were friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. I hope to return someday soon. »

« We really enjoyed our stay at this house. We watched several deer and wild turkeys wander thru the back yard while relaxing on the cover patio. The kitchen is compact but well stocked. The owner was very responsive to questions. Would definitely stay here again! »

« I rented this house because it fit our needs for our last minute family trip, plus a few extra things we didnt need but really enjoyed ( hot tub). My teens really enjoyed the hot tub! A few adults used the hot tub as well. I did notice that the hot tub did smell alittle funky, but to be honest it only stopped my germ freak family members from getting in. The rest of us just showered afterwards like more people. Most the windows in the house did not have blinds or curtins which is a 50/50 for...
